Police sent Hepp a registered letter which serves as a written warning. If he was to enter Tarrywile Park again, he would be subject to a $100 fine.
Hepp's probation officer has been notified of the violation of local law, police said.
No jail then, no fine now. I hope his probation gets violated, I'm sure some jail time with an appropriate "cell mate" will deter future violations.

A failing student in new fairfield with no friends and his parents where ready to throw him out and call the police the night this all happened. Mr. Hepp i would say was his only friend, until the victim turned on him too. If Mr. Hepp had let the parents call the police on the kid then he would still be a scout leader and the kid would be in jail most likley
3. So much like the news stories on how kids now realize they can get a new mommy or daddy by saying they touched me, well maybe the truth doesnt always come out like in this case. So to people like me Mr Hepp is the victim and the Kid should be in jail.
4. i was in scouts for 10 years along with a lot of others and none of us ever got "touched"
5. people should really comment unless they know the real facts of the case, not just what the paper says.
6. Mr. Hepp has always been a help to people and the community, so yeah something is tragic here. welcome to los estados unidos

Just as a note: I had Nimock as a teacher, but never as a coach. Even then other students made comments about this kid or that kid wrestling with Nimock in their underwear, but I just assumed it was normal middle-school shit-talking.
