Just received clipping from The Daily Journal on Lomita Park homes and the Turner House from best friend Harper Petersen, Former Fire Chief of San Bruno.We grew up with the turners, I with Bob and my older sister with the girls. Brough back a ton of wonderfull memories. We lived on San Juis Ave. the second street and Harper grew up on San Marco the 3rd street. Turners were down on the 8th street but Lomita Park was so small every one knew everyone else. Bad for kids as all another MOM had to say was "You want me to call your MOM"? We all behaved then.
