Whitfield County Sheriff's Office

The officers that work for Whitfield should be taken better care of. They do there job. Why is it that when people get arrested they want to fight and try to sue the county. If they were not breaking the law then maybe they would not have gotten arrested. Jail is where they need to be, but no they are able to get out and get a lawyer and sue. Which leads to the officers getting in trouble, sounds like the officers lose either way to me. We need to just vote Chitwood out, Things would change then!!!!!!! Our officers would get praise for doing there job and not get in trouble for getting the drug dealers off the streets.

I think that the county officers do a wonderful job! They are fair and treat people like they should be treated it's the city cops that are completely unprofessional and act like they have a chip on their shoulder. Sherriff Chitwood does a fine job and that is why he is voted in time and time again. I just wish that the law enforcement in our town weren't afraid to cross the railroad tracks and get some of the really bad people off the street and stop harrassing the idiots that go out and have a couple of beers.

Yes, most officers do a great job. However, some dont I am saying the officers are treated unfair.. not that they are unfair.. I think they should be praised for what they do and not get in trouble. You have good officers and some that are not, and some that what to break the law themself.. If you have some beers and drive you should get in trouble.. it does not matter if your a policemen..

All I know is the weed I get from the deputies is OUTSTANDING!!!Priced right,too.
