What in the world is going on?

Nobody in their right mind would buy a house newer than 20 years in Douglasville. A generation of inept "developers" have turned housing into a crumbling, rotting and molding facade here.

Laughable at best.

So, what happened to make you so mad about the builder? I'm interested in finding out more.

Kip is being sued right now by several homeowners who were conned into buying a "quality home" at a decent price. He's in hiding and has opened up a new enterprise, Grace Sanitation. Being a local builder, I take offence to that comment Local. There are a few of us that take pride in what we build. Kip on the other hand is a piece of $hit riding around in his Hummer H2, screwing the local banks while building a new home in in Bremen and selling that ugly one in Nolanwood. It makes me sick to see him in church. WHAT A TOOL. If he is an owner of Grace, I am calling them tomorrow and telling them to get their freeking can out of my yard before I burn it! If anyone wants to find him, look at Golds gym in the morning, Hudsons around noon and Gumbeauxs at night. I have had to change my schedule so that I would not have to see the idiot.

I really don't thin it was the builders fault for what is happening in Douglasville.

It might have more to do with the economic down-turn. The housing market has sucked for more than 3 years in certain markets. It only caught up to Douglasville over the past 1-2 years.

This caught the builders with their pants down and forced them to fill the housing with low income prospects. Unfortunate but they couldn't let the housing sit empty and really loose their butts.

Business is still good for them as now they are building in Ala.
Betcha he'll come out of this unscathed. Darn shame.

By these local builders, I meant Kip and his co-horts. There are some good and honest local builders. Kip Taylor isn't one of them. I wondered why I heard that he was living in his parents basement in Winston. Building in Bremen, huh? I wondered where this $$$ is coming from. Search Grace Sanitation's on the GA corp page. Kip is the owner. I cancelled with them, as well. He's probably dumping everyone's trash on some of that land he managed to keep. ;)

Hey Local the discussion on the Hiram Topix is the same one as this one dumbass! Do you people even have any personal experience with Kip besides the person who started this thread? You need not judge a person for that is God's job to do and if you have a problem why don't you try and talk to Kip about it. There is no reason that anyone should get on the computer and hide behind some name and talk trash about someones personal life that is probably not even true. Get a life and grow up cause I am sure you are grown adults acting like you are still in High School. That is the problem today that people run their mouth and like to talk about other people and they do not even know what is going on. The only persons personally information you should be giving out is your own.

I bought a home from KIP and I am very proud of it.The homes are NICE and they are built well.I have compliments from friends about my home.I am glad I met KIp and he seemed as the perfect businessman.He is someone who got off their lazy bum and wanted something out of life by WORKING for it, instad of like quarterman, wanting to make his living by sueing the government.I had an inspector come in before I bought the house, he did an inspection from top to bottom.The only things he found were VERY minor,mostly to let me know he was doing his job.He found the home to be built to specs, and something to last a long time.If I had my time to go over again, I would buy another home from KIP.KIP wasn't responsible for the declining economy, that would be partially your presidents fault,however I am sure KIP is doing what he can to preserve his interest in the homes.If you live next door to a section 8 home,help those neighbors.They have fallen on hard times, or a product of the system, and indeed if the government keeps going like they are, you will be in a section 8 GOVERNMENT owned home in a few years.Who ownes the banks now? making your mortgage to the govt?

HA! he didn't get off his lazy ass, Stepdaddy and Mommie gave him the $$$ to start his screwing empire. I have heard that a$$hole talk to his subcontractors like they were crap on his shoes and beat them up on prices so bad and then turn around and go to my Church like he is a Saint. He is dirty and would take a sucker from your baby to make a buck! What a tool....
