Stacy L. Black, DDS bonded $3000 for family violence/bodily injury

A Rusk Texas dentist arrested for "allegedly" assaulting a female half his size. Booked, jailed and arraigned for domestic violence.

Do they suspend the license of a dentist when they get arrested for domestic violence twice in the same renewal period? Or does the dental board ignore the wife beating and let it slide?

It depends on whether a Cherokee county judge issued a protective order. The victim can go up to the Rusk courthouse and fill out a protective order application. But if the district judge wants to bury the incident all together, nothing usually happens. And they can do an ex-parte order making the guy move out of his house and put it up for sale on Craig's List. He's not supposed to be 200 yards from the victim for 30 days.
It appears Dr. Black didn't have a protective order against him the first time, hence the puny bond.

The local Rusk TX topix took down the article about Dr. Stacy Black being arrested twice for domestic violence/bodily injury.
The County Attorney dropped the back-to-back charges and nobody down there wants to report it.

Dr. Stacy Black in Rusk, TX was arrested twice last year for domestic violence. A dentist being arrested for bodily injury and family violence is something everyone should be concerned with.
This is being posted in the Health and Medicine forum.

Gave his wife a black eye and Elmer Beckworth didn't do anything about it.

Jeez..........why doesn't someone just kick this man's ass. I'd love for him to try and assault me, in or out of the dentist chair. He'd have to get another doc to redo his teeth.........and everything down below.
