Hello Montgomery! Let me add my warning also. This man Mark Duke and his followers are BAD news. DO not get involved with ANYTHING connected with them. Especially do not let him around your children.

Mark Duke is manipulative, arrogant, controlling
and threatens people who disagree with him or challenge him on his doctrine and his leadership.

He directs people as to whom they shall marry and
and tells the same folks who and when to divorce.

He has living with him besides his "legal wife"
former co-workers from a job they all held together in Colorado...Gwen and Mark Duke's "spiritual partner", Shawn Samuelson.

His Freedom Foundation pays for many of these divorces that he insructs to happen. He keeps people from their families, unless the families support the Freedom Foundation.

They entered churchs here in Selma in groups, wearing black T-Shirts. They use Mark Dukes REAL TALK program as their forum to attack Selma in whatever they so choose, and also to promote themselves. They usually latch on to some major or charitable organization/function here in Selma,
video themselves as a part of it, and then market themselves as having been hugely involved in the
functions, while all along it is just a front.

They live with each other and near each other.
They do not mingle with Selmians and they feel threatened by anyone from Selma.

The Freedom Foundation especially Mark Duke have lied about who they are. This group is the House of God from Parker, Co., now living in Selma.

Beware, be on guard.

The House of God was founded by Mark Duke. The Freedom Foundation is an off spring of that so-called church. They deny the House of God is in Selma yet they have a 501(c)3 non profit tax excemption for HOG with the address for it at dukes home in Selma. They also have a 501(c)3 for the Freedom Foundation with a Colorado address though the members moved en masse to Selma in 2007. They claim these are two separate identities yet refer to themselves as FF/HOG.
Their claims of all the charitable work and facilities for same in Colorado have proven to be that- just claims with no backup facts. Their IRS tax returns show that their tax free money was used for paying rent, car repairs, divorce lawyers,dental bills and other assistance FOR MEMBERS OF THE FREEDOM FOUNDATION.

To the good folks in Montgomery:

Some of you have no doubt heard about Mark Duke, the Freedom Foundation and the House of God church. There is enough written material on various blogs for you to read yourself sick. Here are some simple things you really need to grasp:

(1) The House of God church has been officially labeled a cult by the Watchman Fellowship, an internationally known organization that monitors cult activities.

(2) Mark Duke has been officially named as a cult leader, after the fashion of Jim Jones, etc., by the same internationally known organization.

(3) The Freedom Foundation has been exposed as nothing more than a front for the HOG church, using it as a basis to garner tax free contributions.

(4) They have started a local theater group, called Random Acts of Theater, better known as RATS, to turn attention from their darker motives and to promote themselves as "doing good" for the community.

(5) They use RATS as an attractant to local youth to pull them into their web of deceit and lies. They know that young people are especially susc
eptible to the "love bombing" that the FF group has been well trained to do.

(6) They will use any uncovered weakness or problem in a person's life as leverage to get them to join their group and do their bidding.

(7) They have about played out their game in Selma and are being exposed for what they really are. Mark Duke is losing ground rapidly and he is getting pretty nervous about his future in this town.

(8) A very large nail will be driven into the FF coffin on April 26 at 6:00 pm at Elkdale Baptist Church. The former president of the Watchman Fellowship is coming to speak about cults in general and the FF in particular.

(9) Here is the last, and for you the most important, fact I can give you. Mark Duke is on the lookout for another town to practice his "religion" in. He is going to use RATS as the vehicle to gain acceptance and support. HE WILL BE IN MONTGOMERY SOON IF YOU ALLOW HIM TO. HE WILL GO AFTER YOUR YOUTH IF YOU ALLOW HIM TO. BE ON GUARD. BE ON GUARD. BE ON GUARD.

Mark Duke is the leader of the Freedom Foundation.
They came to Selma because he feels Selmians are still of a "confederate mindset". And yet today,
he and his REAL TALK team broadcast their program from there. You see, when popularity started waning, Mark just changed his tactics. He has bad-mouthed Selma, and even if he tries to flirt with Montgomery in order to not make the same mistake he made in Selma...beware.

Mark Duke is out for himself and the youth on one's city.

If he "gets" on of YOUR youth, and you do not like it and encourage your child from this cult
group, you are labeled "of the devil" and he
possible will instruct your child to turn against you and your family.

Mark Duke just wants to be important. He will make up an injustice, just to have a reason to "clean up and unify" Montgomery.

Instead...he wants to divide Montgomery so that
many will follow him.

Don't drink the Kool-Aid.

Here is what is coming to YOUR city.
DO NOT BE TAKEN IN BY THEIR ADVANCE PUBLICITY. It may sound good but it is NOT THE TRUTH.
From Selma:
The City lost more than $30,000.00 last year by letting groups such as the RATS (Random Acts Theatre Society) use city buildings FREE OF CHARGE. Part of Mark Duke's Freedom Foundation, RATS proved true to their name by using the Performing Arts Center 23 times last year WITHOUT PAYING THE CITY ANY RENTAL FEES. To make matters worse, the RATS charged admission to their Suessical and kept the money to fund who knows what!!

Meanwhile, the Teppers Building on Broad Street continues to be an eyesore and a disgrace. It is past time that Duke use some of his money and complete the renovation of this building. We want to know if they have a current Building Permit from the City and will be checking on that. We are told that such permits have to be renewed from time to time. We suppose Duke is still trying to use Selma's name to get a grant for his proposed Martin Luther King Center.

Though these activities mentioned above are devious and detrimental to the community, they pale in comparison to what Duke and his HOUSE OF GOD CHURCH are teaching. We urge everyone to use the link on this web site to Allan McConnell's web site where you can hear the heresy and false teaching from Duke and other members of the House of God cult in their own words. It is unfortunate that the cult members are preying on the poor and disadvantaged in this community.
