And just how long does it take to resolve these cases? Honestly, you could walk down the street on any given day and find a multitude of people that don't belong here. It really gripes me. I was actually sitting in a court room one day and two guys who did not speak English were before the judge for traffic violations..driving without a lisence I believe. They had to have a translator. They had no license because they were in OUR country illegally to begin with. The judge even asked them if they were US Citizens or had Green Cards and they replied "No.". So what happens? The judge says come back in two weeks and show that you have a license. HA! Do you think THAT ever happened? Now why weren't steps taken right then to deport these guys??? If that judge did not have the authority to do anything, he certainly could have turned them over to someone who did. People here in our country who are not citizens, especially if they are here illegally, do not have the same rights as those who are citizens and should be treated accordingly. I don't understand why we just tuck our tails and ignore this terrible situation. It seems being an illegal or of certain minority status, or heck: even if you just whine loud enough for certain groups to hear, you end up with more rights that the average US Citizen. That's just wrong. We as a people have lost our voice in Government, most of whom we elect are just watching out for their own pockets.

If employers would stop breaking the law and hiring illegal aliens, that would stop the flow. However, they're so hell bent on cheap labor and greed that they blatantly ignore the laws and deny legal immigrants employment opportunities.

There was an article a couple of months ago about how the Houston Police Dept. had problems with keeping up with arresting the flood of illegal mexicans in their town. I suggested they use bullets to save the tax payers the horrendous legal fees to prosecute and send them back to mexico. Local law enforcement and governments don't have the financial means to tackle this problem, and the Feds wont help either.

YES, IT APPEAR THE JUDGE IGNORE THE FACT THAT THE PEOPLE BEFORE DO NOT HAVE LEGAL DOCUMENTS TO BE HERE IN THE US.
BUT THEN, THE ISSUES IN FACT BEFORE THE COURT IS "DRIVING WITHOUT A LICENSE" AND NOT ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION. ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION ISSUES WILL MATTER FOR THE COURT ONLY IF THEY WERE SUMMONED TO RULE ABOUT IT. SOLUTION TO THIS IS, HAVE THE POLICE IMPLEMENT IMMIGRATION LAWS. IMPLEMENTING IMMGRATION LAW HOWEVER WILL ONLY BE POSSIBLE WHEN ARE TOLD TO DO SO.
