Water board member boost their own salaries 10 percent - Santa ...
The board of the Santa Clara Valley Water District voted 4-3 this week to give itself a 10 percent pay raise.

I work for a school district, and I can't give myself a raise, let alone get paid for the overtime I sometimes need to work to finish the jobs I do. Really fishy, IMO
