From http://sunnyvale.ca.gov/Departments/Public+Sa... :

Q: Can I park my vehicle on the street?
A: Yes. However vehicles parked on the street must be licensed and operable, and cannot be left in one location for more than 72 consecutive hours (3 days).

So what am I supposed to do if I rent, don't have a garage, and go on vacation for 4 days?

WTF! Seriously, you're that incapable of thinking on your own? How about...call the Department of Public Safety, let them know of the situation, provide them with a description of your vehicle and the license plate information. Any amount of common sense would let you see that the law is meant to prevent the streets from becoming a haven for junked cars...not to immediately tow any vehicle simply parked longer than 72 hours. I've left one my cars on the street in front of my house for weeks without moving it and never had any issues.

What sort of law is that if you can simply call someone and bypass it?

The problem here is with the fascism surrounding parking regulations. Check this, from the same web page:

"Can I live in my recreational vehicle?
No. It is *unlawful* for anyone to live in a recreational vehicle parked on any public property such as the street, park, alley, public parking lot or any other public way.**The same regulation applies to private property.**"

So I can't live in my own RV, on my own property. WTF?!

So in other words, you still can't comprehend the concept of "the spirit of the law vs. the letter of the law". Sad. Really, really sad.

Park your vehicle on the Caltrain tracks. You will never have to worry about parking again.

Pisces

Listen carefully to your heart as the Moon continues through your lunar low cycle; it's time to recharge your spiritual batteries, so allow your moods to flow naturally. It's fine if you don't feel like socializing; many Fish will choose an afternoon in the bath over company today. Psychic insight comes in a flash as the Moon links with electric Uranus; expect to just know things.
