it really bothers me that the land owners in this county has always carried the county anytime our so called commissioners think they need more money for something instead of living within our means as each and every family has to do they just raise the land taxes. we have elderly people that have worked their whole lives to pay for their homes so at this point in their lives they do not have to worry about a place to live at the rate our commissioners are going they or anyone that has to strugle will not have a home. There has to be a way that everyone in the county has to help support this county not just a select few. as with our federal goverment we cannot put all the blame on our present commissioners this mess has been building up the this point for a long time.

I had lived in Dickson all of my life and recently moved to a different county, and this is why. Dickson is more concerned about putting up that NEW MULTI MILLION dollar Jail in Charlotte than they are about educating our children. If Dickson County had worried more about the school system to begin with, and not the prisoners that they like to house, maybe the kids would not have to be going thru this right now. But then again, maybe its more important to make sure the prisoners have more room, and better food and their satelite TV.

Hey these losers who have higher salaries than surrounding counties, Dickson already has higher taxes than surrounding counties, and the lowest paid teachers than in surrounding counties need to get new jobs and quit raping the educators, taxpayers, and children in the community. BUNCH OF CROOKS. Hope they enjoy their cushy jobs with little to no effort asked from them in their jobs. I would be fired if I were as lazy and, well, stealing from the compant.

Daily Horoscope for January 4

Leo

Even though you usually pride yourself on being the strong silent type, love has a way of unlocking your tongue. The words coming out of your mouth may be familiar, but your sense of timing makes all the difference right now. Keep in mind that you never know how a risky gesture will work out, although you can always hope for the best. When in doubt, take the more cautious path.
