I've lived in the Cumberland, MD area for almost 15 years, I'm an outspoken white, college educated liberal, and for over a decade they've been telling me to "go back where you came from" also.

With welfare people being shipped from Baltimore to Cumberland and the building of prisons in the area, the black and crime prone population has had a negative effect on the area. The real reason the thugs left is that although the shool principal and some stiff necked phoney white liberals caved to black threats to bring int he FBI and maybe big Al and Jesse, a lot of people in the area and stood their ground against the threats. The blacks who were not part of the area bring their ghetto ideas and half civilized culture to an area that already gets dumped on and is largely white so what is expected? As for child molesters, they are dealt with harshly. I do point out that Martinsburg WVA is larger than Cumberland so the sex offenders are about equal. Go to the sex offender web site and look up Augusta WVA, a rural community which I suspect is heavily populated with people who moved from the Baltimore washington area. The sex offender rate is very high considering the sparse population. God bless the people in Cumberland and the youth who stood their ground against the savagery of the thugs and professional liberals. One day when more sensible people take over this country, the thugs and liberals better stay under their rocks.
