Discovery chanel show ( A Haunting )

wow i watched this tonite with my mom and we were both freaked out cuz we live 45 mins away from this town kinda creepy the things that went on in your area and you never knew up till then!

Hi, i was wondering the same thing. That certainly was a spooky show last night. I have not found a whole lot on the internet on this place though. Anyone else ?

i have also been looking to find out more about that house. We have friends that live in hinsdale and they have not heard anything about it. however, they do know where the house is located. i will be doing a road trip soon

um yea every one who commented its all true i live in hinsdale ny and i know Randy Carr one of the ones being interviewed his son is my best friend.

I am at the beginning of new research of the house. I was extensively involved in the research in 1973. I was at the house every day for nearly an entier year. There is heightened parnormal activity happening once again. I'll post anything of importance in future posts.

I'm currently reading Clara Miller's "Echoes of a Haunting," about the paranormal activity on her property in Hinsdale in the early 1970s. Ms. Miller is one of my favorite authors. This is her only non-fiction book and it's fascinating. I'd be very interested in hearing about any first-hand accounts of what went on while the Miller family was in residence.
I didn't realize there has been renewed activity. Can you tell me anything about it?

Where is this house located?

I would actually like to take a walk on the grounds of this home or the woods around it. I am a "sensitive" and I got very strong feelings about this place while watching the show. Has anyone figured out yet where it is located?

McMahon Road, Hinsdale, NY, somwhere on that road. I am assuming New York right now. Good luck, just let us know.

Is that the real house that they showed on the T.V.?

i love this show . i know the re-run the eppisodes. witch one is this. im from ny and think it would be a good one to watch. let me know

I have been to the Hinsdale house with a few of my friends and have experienced lasting effects. We went in search of the house after reading the book (great book by the way). Myself and all of my friends experienced wierd inexplicable car problems, and a rash of bad luck after our trek to Hinsdale. During a recent airing of the show, myself and another friend who visited the house decided to tape/TiVo the show and both of our machines malfuntioned (in my case VCR, in her case TiVo.) Coincidence? I think not, it's just plain freaky.

I've been there, but couldn't tell you now how to get there. It's in the boonies for sure. House doesn't seem like much but the area sure has a definate creepiness. We went to the Hinsdale pos office to ask for directions. The post master was congenial and gave good directions. If you are sensitive you will get the heebie-jeebies, let us know ho it turns out!

HI Paul Kenyon, if you could share some of your fist hand experiences with us, that might not have been covered in the show, we would all greatly appreciate it. Also, what kind of new activity is happening there now ?

hey maggie im from wayland ny can you tell us the directions or a road name to look up?

I attend school at Hinsdale Central and I was wondering was it just the house that was haunted or was it actually the whole property?
