fire in savannah

Does anyone know about the fire that took the life of Bernice Nance a few days ago.
I knew her, she was a sweet lady.

I was on Wayne Rd in front of Hardin County medical when the Fire Dept (4 trucks or more) pulled up to her house and blocked Patterson.I didn't see any smoke and the pictures on Midsouthnewz.com dont show smoke damage that i can see.Courier should have more Wednesday.

I took a better look at those pictures,,Roof is caved in.

Did she work at Walmart?

It's really sad that someone had to die all alone like that. I wonder if anyone ever found the kittens she had there? One of the fireman said they hadn't had any luck so far other than the one that was saved during the initial fire. Such a tragedy for a nice lady who was doing the best she could for herself.

Does anyone know the cause of the fire, I keep checking midsouthnewz for an update, but so far, nothing.
Bernice was my first cousin, and she was a very sweet person.

According to Savannah Fire Chief Jerry Shelly, as of yesterday afternoon there was still no news from the state fire marshal's office on the cause of the fire.

I am so sorry to hear about your cousin. I have heard so many good things about her. She was artistically gifted and kind.

I haven't heard anything about the cause of the fire. You might want to call the fire department and ask the chief. He would know before the paper would.

Has anyone heard if the fire marshal has come to a conclusion on the cause if the fire that killed Bernice Nance on Halloween morning?
Seems like its taking quite a while to find the cause.
