Sorry but I am a family member of Jason and he is not a gang member and never was. For what. He was the only child who was raised wealthy, had an education and lived his life being the only son of a sick mother. U people speak as if you really knew the truth about his life. Your wrong about him. When herndon walked in that house with the gun in his hand Jason didn't know what to do. The people who tampered with the evidence was trying to cover up for herndon. They knew that herndon was coming to kill Jason that is why police records show the phone call from herndon's cell phone to the house before he arrived. Get the facts together. No it couldnt have been a child, elderly, or someone hard working. He didnt just come out and start shooting any and everywhere. I have the actual transcripts of what happened step by step. It was a dispute that stemmed from an argument in the apartment that resulted outside. the shooting took place in the apartment where folks were under the influence. Instead of knocking folks out there, try doing someting to help their community. Give the youth something to do because it wasnt gang related or anything like that, these young women and men have NOTHING but time on their hands. I hate Charlottesville and I dang on sure can't stand WestHaven but build the community and stop sitting back talking crap and not doing anything about it.

First off after reading all of your comments bad and good I.came to the conclusion that most of you did not know the real Jason. He was not perfect, however he still has my a good heart. The way he grew up was reflective of his decision making as a man. He was sheltered and spoiled and taught that he was better then most. I love my cousin dearly and I will always love him regardless of his faults, but you must remember that jason is still a person and I will always love him .
