Yeah, those SAABs can be expensive to fix and I'm guessing the driver only has collision, not comprehensive. He can always sue the shoplifter...

He shoplifted a humidifier? How big is this guy, King Kong size?

Is there a big demand for humidifiers during the rainy season in a town that is always too humid anyways?

I am NOT taking up for a thief by no means.....but this is so sad in a way.....I mean to steal a humidifier......It was probably someone at this thief's home, be a sick child or relative that was having breathing problems and this type of machine would've helped......I know for a fact. My Mom has lung cancer and her radiologist told her a humidifier would greatly help her at bedtime with breathing and mucus......I mean usually a shoplifter steals computer equipment or DVDs, CDs, Games. Very odd it would be a dehumidifier. Hope his life threatening injuries get better so they can get the full story.

Are you SERIOUS that while a 26 year olds life hangs in the balance and his fammily is waiting to hear from the doctors if he will even live you heartless cruel animals are on here commenting and joking about the extent of the damage to the Saab and the cost to repair it?! I am in no way defending the actions of this man either, but can you put yourself in his family's shoes for one second and imagine how they would feel if they read this!! I can't believe you "citizen" and "cville native"! Poetic justice, and karma..you're right, and may need to watch yourselves. GOD DON'T LIKE UGLY!!!!!!!!

You failed to admit your relative had (supposedly) taken something that didn't belong to him. What do you expect people to say?

What's also a shame is this guy ran so hard and may pay with his life for something he would have probably just gotten a slap on the wrist for in court.Sorry, honest, hardworking people just have little sympathy for thieves.

Might have really needed it for a family member or even himself. How much demand is it on the black market for a humidifier. Everyone screws up now and then. I hope the best for him. Just wondering what his background record is?

If he was a Charlottesville druggie he might have mistaken the humidifier for a wide screen TV.

Now we know Saab's are good for something other than taking up space in junk yards.

Daily Horoscope for June 1

Leo

Try not to over-commit yourself at this time. If you can establish a few limits you will be really pleased with the end results. You're flying high -- which is great, but try not to get ahead of yourself and lose the advantage of the good opportunities surrounding you. Why not relax at home tonight? Have a few friends over for some pleasant banter.
