Private lake. huuuuge shellcrackers...i'm talkin record size...as for bass lakes...i'll never tell but there are several lakes around that are not private...

Would you tell me a lake in crossville that would be the closest
to sparta that I could catch crappie or sunfish that is not private.

City Lake has some good black crappie and blue gill or brim fishing I have found around here.But it has some very good bass fishing too.

If you head a little further go to Holpps Lake in Monterey. It's private owned but open to the public. You pay to visit the area but it's nice, family atmosphere,picnic area, swimming, camping lots of fun.

I grew up out east tennessee,fished Douglass lake and th French Broad river,and Cherokee lake,and th Holston river.I will find Breckenridge lake and give it a try,thanks Hillbilly.
