when did I say half the states??

I said half of americans polled.......and climbing quickly.

you are on the wrong side of history on this one.......wake up and join us in this century, give gays the right to marry!!

you will have to go kicking a screaming, otherwise, because it IS GOING to happen whether you like it or not.

Passed in the last gasps of bigotry. Ever wonder why all these laws against gay marriage started getting passed in the late '90s? Because, prior to then, gay marriage was a political third rail. It is only as gay marriage becomes politically viable that bigots have felt the need to make one last attempt to fight off the change in public opinion.

“First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.”

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Public_opinion_o...
Polls in 2012

A May 10 USA Today/Gallup Poll, taken one day after Barack Obama became the first sitting President to express support for same-sex marriage,[13] showed 51% of Americans agreed with the President's endorsement.[14] A May 8 Gallup Poll showed plurality support for same-sex marriage nationwide, with 50% in favor and 48% opposed.[15]

An April Pew Research Center poll showed support for same-sex marriage at 47%, while opposition fell to an all-time low of 43%.[16]

A March 7-10 ABC News/Washington Post poll found 52% of adults thought it should be legal for same-sex couples to get married, while 42% disagreed and 5% were unsure.[17] A March survey by the Public Religion Research Institute found 52% of Americans supported allowing same-sex couples to marry, while 44% opposed.[18]

A February 29 - March 3 NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll found 49% of adults supported allowing same-sex couples to marry, while 40% opposed.[19]

then you should probably burn most of your dvd's because hollywood's elite, especially from the sixties generation on down through and past MY generation, is pretty damn liberal.

I got over that B.S. years ago...

I enjoy(ed) the acting of charlton heston, fred thomson, clint eastwood, jon voight, sean astin, and other notable conservative minded actors.

I dont give a crap what those republican actors think otherwise.

BHM is a singular subject, therefore the appropriate possessive pronoun would be "his," not "their." You should try to be a little more careful with your own posts before you disparage someone else's posts for being "stupid."

Do you ever wonder why stupid People NEVER miss a chance to show it off & why we laugh when they do when I guess we should really pity them, but somehow, I just can't. Mental Illness isn't anything to laugh at, but their kind just makes them act so ridiculous that I just can't help it. But, they never get that we're laughing AT them , not WITH them.

More Words Of Wisdom (?) from Glenn Beck. Isn't this just exactly what the TEApublicans are doing right now...and who are they calling, "Fascists"???
----------

''This is fascism. This is what happens when you merge special interests, corporations, and the government. This is what happens. And if people like you don't take a stand...at some point, you know what poem keeps going through my mind is 'First they came for the Jews.' People, all of us are like, well, this news doesn't really affect me. Well, I'm not a bondholder. Well, I'm not in the banking industry. Well, I'm not a big CEO. Well, I'm not on Wall Street. Well, I'm not a car dealer. I'm not an autoworker. Gang, at some point they're going to come for you.''
