He went out as usual 10/16/11 and never returned. May have been attacked by another animal and is injured or dead in the wooded 118 acres behind Pigott and Owens Rds. He's all black with yellow eyes and (may be) wearing a black flea collar. If found dead or alive please post here and contact the Putnam county humane society. Thanks!

. Sorry to hear this happened, Fur8*)lyin. Have you had any luck on his return? Same happened to my guy on November 10th. He went out this day and i havent seen him ever since. He spent 8 years as an indoor/ outdoor cat. I hope whatever happened that he didnt suffer, nor your cat if misfortune came his way. My guy had his nametag on, so if he was lost someone would have called by now. I am in a woodsy part of mahopac, so who knows......very sad.

same thing happened to my husbands familys cat he went out one day as usual and never came back they also have wooded area behind there house we looked as well as we possibly could and didnt see him either dead or alive like he just vanished he also was an indoor outdoor cat for many years we think he may have been sick before he went out and my husband was going to bring him to the vet that day after work and told his father not to let him out but my father in law either forgot or inadvertantly let him out and he never came home dont know if an animal attack occured or if he was sick and went off to die as animals do or if he was taken etc but we didnt see him anywhere in the woods but the woods out there are entangled and not easy to go all way in so he could have been back further just dont know what happened to him thats the worst part but his mother and friend still are indoor outdoor cats and so far knock on wood nothing has happened to them this is exactly why my cat is an indoor only cat i would be heart broken if anything were to happen to her especially if i had no idea what happened to her good luck hopefully he turns up alive and well keep up posted with news of his hipeful return

Joe Black never returned. I have one more cat to see at a rescue in North Putnam but no time to get there. It's killing me. Looks just like him. Rescue said it's not him but I need to see for myself. I may adopt that one if it's close match.

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Libra

You have a tremendous amount of nervous energy today and you need to find positive ways of expressing it, otherwise it could make you rather irritable and restless. Ideally, you should do something physical, such as going for a brisk walk, cleaning the house while working up a sweat or getting your money's worth out of the gym. Don't take out your frustrations on people who don't deserve them.
