Back when Everest was N.I.T., does anyone know a girl named Mary Jane that went there in the Massage Therapy program? If so I am looking for her...

I grad there last yr, even tho I have a job in medical...half my class mates do not. If I had to do it again I would have went to garnet and became an LPN and paid less for the schooling

It's a joke. My sister paid $17,000 for medical assisting when she could of gone to a local nursing home & taken the classes for free. Waste of $$$.

I agree with the price of classes but she couldn't have gotten these classes at a local nursing home- they don't teach u how to wipe ass instead how to draw blood and give injections and such, obviously she didn't tell u much about the program or you just didn't listen
really?

I went there and have worked as a medical assistant. U can not get the same education at a nursing home. Medical assistants dont wipe butts or bath patience. I owe 8,000 after my grant. For books and tuition it was 13,000. It was worth it.
disappointed

That place is a HUGE joke. Its very over priced and they can be quite dishonest. I graduated from massage therapy program with honors and got no job placement. In fact idk anyone in my class thats actually working as a massage therapit. They told us about all of the job oppertunities then waited til 3 months into to it to tell us those oppertunities were places like cruize ships. Only problem was when over half the class got up to walk out, they decided to inform us that we would have to pay for the whole program due to being passed the quit deadline.

Disappointed, be a little more proactive. If you finished, you have a marketable trade and can do your own thing. And the massage therapist at my chiropractor's office in Cross Lanes got her training at Everest and is great.
They are way overpriced, but legit in all I've seen.

What? Proactive as in seek work instead of waiting for job placement. Set up your own business, etc

Daily Horoscope for June 1

Taurus

Some people are full of talk today and the trouble is that they don't know when to shut up. Who needs all the trivial details? Retro Venus is favoured in Gemini, so financial matters may resurface, and you may be inclined to change your point of view. Think long term, especially if you are tempted to form an important liaison, or partnership.
