Ummm, let's see here. This allegedly occured on July 4th 2011 and it is now December 14th 2011. These are strong allegations and a lot of time has lapsed to have a good amount of evidence, other than photographs. Mr. Dys is wanting 4 million dollars in total in a County that has an entire annual operating budget of 600 thousand dollars. Let me get this right...Mr. Dye is willing to risk the safety and prosperity of the rest of the "LAW ABIDING" citizens by wanting 5 years worth of an entire county budget because he RESISTED ARREST. I sure hope Mr. Dye has his facts in order. If there is no money in the budget, the Government services don't operate. The Sheriff's Office would close down, then you will have the wild wild west. From what I have read and heard about from this incident, Deputy Poole did what was nessesary to execute an effective arrest. The age of the suspect and the initial reason for contact DO NOT out weigh the suspects actions. I've seen traffic stops for a tail light go from just that to now fighting for your life. There is nothing routine about this job, just remember that.

Metro cop said without law enforcement, we would return to the wild wild west. Well I'm not sure we ever left that scenario. I'm a strong believer in self protection, while I have a deep respect for most cops, we all know they can't be every where all the time. The second amendment gives us the right to own and bear arms not only for personal protection but for protection from tyrannous government. We don't have a lot of crime out here and thats one of the reasons I live in a small community. But should anyone foolishly entertain the urge to encroach on my little abode in the middle of the night, all I have to say is come on in and meet the .357. That is if my dogs haven't already had you for breakfast! While yes we do need cops a lot of the responsibility lies with us to protect ourselves. Hows this for a wild wild west story?

If you want, go see for yourself. The wild west is alive and well in Sedgwick County. Read the Denver Post's Sunday front page article "lawman or liability" The Sedgwick government corruption is astounding because no-one with enough money to sue stays. If you disagree you are FORCED to leave for more civilized places. Most of all - what did happen to the video tapes of the cafe owner who died in Sedgwick county jail???

Daily Horoscope for June 1

Taurus

Some people are full of talk today and the trouble is that they don't know when to shut up. Who needs all the trivial details? Retro Venus is favoured in Gemini, so financial matters may resurface, and you may be inclined to change your point of view. Think long term, especially if you are tempted to form an important liaison, or partnership.
