Delegate Dave Nutter joined a bi-partisan coalition of fourteen area state legislators who have publicly requested American Electric Power drop their proposed rate increase due to difficult economic times that citizens all over the Commonwealth are confronting.

The Electric & Gas Utility companies are pure monopolies. Where else can the consumer go for these services, no where. The SCC is suppose to
stand between the Utilities & the consumer. But there recent action show a bias against consumer
protection.
