your absolutely right when you say that sports in man will determine how your children are treated in middle school and high school.read the newspaper and see how many of the players DID NOT make the honor roll.man is a pitiful little town that is somehow fixated on the thought that sports in middle school and high school matter.sports in man is a joke, just like the people that are over them.

Yep "most" people deserve a second chance. I can see actions that are so bad that you shouldn't get a second chance. Would you give Hitler a second chance? Hoping maybe the next time he ran a country it wouldn't bring the world in to world. But I digress and the point I am making is extreme but effective. Carl deserves to be free but he has not rights to be in charge of children, be a youth league official. It would seem that Carl has a hard time just managing his own life. That type of person does not have a right to be a leadership role with what seems to be very little over site.
I am glad you are sick, I hope what I say makes you sick. Its because of you and your likes that let the Carl's of the world get put in positions to fail. Carl can fail himself all he wants, it is his right to do so. It is not his right to fail a entire youth league and children. Its people like that put gasoline in the barn and then throws a lit cig in there and wonders why there is fire.
I will end it with this, I have no kids or kin folk of any can playing ball or cheer leading. I have been to games, mostly football and came home thinking damn the kids would have had a ball of it wasn't for the grown ups.

all stars have been picked and it was done the right way with all the coaches there and they voted..and having my head in the sand is the last that is gonna happen..if your child played buddy league at all then you are no different than any other parent and if you don't have a child that played why are you even on here..oh let me guess.. you don't have a life at all and being on topix is the highlight of the day..every kid that played in the buddy league was some what under Carl's supervision..he is president..had my child not been picked i would still feel the same way..nothing has been proved..God says forgive your brother 7 times 70...

Forgive your brother is good thing, it is very Christian. To let your brother screw you over you a second a time is just plain ass stupid. But hey, he picked my kid for all stars so he must okay.

Someone has to look out for the children in this area...if their parents dont have the balls to do it!Second chances are great...you can give them a job or welcome them back to the community..but what you cant do is let convicted felons be over a league of children! You people are so retarted!

so if ac is treasure is she going to be held respondible for the money not showing up at the end of the season.i heard they only have 800.00 in the treasure and we all know with what they charge to get in alone should add up to more than that.so you all agree allstars should go on as usual.that's just not right.i didn't know you had to have a child playing to read this topic honey this is just some good reading.

The allstars might be picked but who is going to allow them in tournaments.

For your info ac is not the treasurer Katrina C. is..... but cg is the only one who has ever had control over the money!!!!!!!!!

i have never once said anything that he has done is o.k..the only thing i was saying is that if all the stuff is ture about what people are saying then why hasn't the upper authority done something about..all you all have said is that us parents need to step in and do something or take over and kick him out..well guess what..it just doesn't work that way and if you were really involved in the buddy league sports you all would know that..no matter how much people complain or spread things that have been said is not going to be what gets Carl out of the president position..however, someone thought he was capable enough to run the league..who is the question..people keep saying how did he get elected as president..no one seems to know the answer to that one either..he obviously knew the right person..having our kids play for him in allstars does not mean in any way that we are bad parents..that is what makes me mad..i am a christian and have been for years and i am raising my children to be christians as well..(as much as you can, once they reach a certain age)and judging people is something that we try not to do..until he does something to my family personally or until we see with our eyes that he is stealing or dealing or whatever everyone is saying, i am in no position to judge..if he is doing the things that are being said..it soon will all be out in the open because the season has 2 weeks left..and as for now he still has the president position and coach of the allstar team for 11 and 12 year olds..

But you know you kid has made the all star right? If there is still 2 weeks left how do you have a allstar already? You try to distance yourself from Carl now, but when you had secret little practice sessions going on Carl was a ok guy? Its okay to play with snake until it bite you rite? I don't know about a bunch of stuff that has been said about Carl. I do know that he did make a lot of stupid decisions when it came to the scheduling this year when they had the not-so-genius plan of making up the games that were missed because of the snow. I do know that some of the coaches weren't even called about some of the game changes until right before the their game. I also know that Goof (no, I spelled it right) told one set of coaches 3 different times for a game. I also know that he can't coach worth a dime. I've watched the games, and I also watched when he coached the fall league kids from the high school. He just isn't fit for this job, plain and simple.

i have never said he was a good coach but their isn't anyone else who wants it..and as far as the allstar team it was picked Thursday night at a coaches meeting..not so sure what you are talking about now..their is still 2 weeks left of the season because of the weather and these are make up games..nothing wrong with that..never once have i said Carl was an ok guy either..however, along with my son, their are 9 other kids that were voted onto the allstar team and each and every kid that was voted on is playing..have they been bit as well..you all need to get over it and leave ALL the teams alone and their the coaches, all of them, this thing has went to far, none of the things that were said about the parents or kids should have never been on here..these kids..all of the kids that were picked for all of the allstar teams deserve to play..we can't do anything about who the coaches are just like we can't do anything about who the coaches were for the regular season games..if every parent could coach their own child then they would..it just doesn't work that way..Carl has made alot of stupid decisions, however they don't affect me or my family..if the time comes and their is no allstars because their is no money, then i guess we will deal with that then, for the time being, uniforms have been ordered and schedules have been made for all the teams, and practices are already set to begin this week..sorry to prove you all wrong...

You aren't proving anything at all except that you don't know what you are talking about. I know for a fact all coaches didnot get to vote on all stars. I talked to one of the coaches after the meeting and he said it was all decided by the time he got there. He didnt vote. Wonder how many didnt get to vote???You aren't mad YET cause your child was picked whether they deserve it or not. But when you find out that there isnt any money and it effects you or your child then I am sure you will sing a different tune.

I say if anybody wants to make a change dont let your kids play next weekend. All the money they make next weekend is supposed to go for allstars. I say why help fund it. These people who have knew they were picked for weeks and having their "private" shoot arounds can fund their own dang kids.

So who are these allstars??

How can you pick a all star team if the all the regular season games haven't been played? Cancellation and rescheduling aside, how can you base a vote on a player's performance when there is still chances to perform. It sounds likes they knew who was going to get picked even before the season starts. I mean hey, why even play the regular season?...oh i know the answer, you play regular season games to make money off the attendance and concession so later the "real" players and parents can travel.

I hope Carl Goof (stolen from another poster) did get high off that money maybe someone will learn a lesson.
