Dick Van Dyke has voted against sidewalks and stop lights that were funded through grants and wouldn't have cost the city a penny - what was he thinking?!?

Actually it cost the city 20% so check your facts before spouting off. There are enough sidewalks for the kids to use and make it anywhere they want to go. Maybe it might be a longer walk but everyone could use the excercise.

The Almighty ruler Turner fired Amy, the engineer and the cost would have been Nothing for our kids. Down with this group of misers, for themselves only. Nothing too good for the engineering firm, tho!! We spare no cost for them. So what isn't twenty percent worth kid's safety and life? I guess not to you, Kelly. You don't have children. Sidewalks are life for kids.

That's right. It can be used against them, keep track! Keep track of everything and anything they vote against or do not tell us. It is important as the voter will see it our way, especially those with children or grandchildren. I am passing this along to the school district. They should know what their almighty ruler is doing and their surrogates.

Well my point was the poster said it cost nothing which was completely wrong. There are sidewalks already for the kids to make were ever they are walking. 20% of an unknown # might be too much for the city to take on right now with all the pending issues with the water problems. I have no problem adding sidewalks when other issues are taken care of and the economy picks up a little. Until then use the sidewalks that are there already. Amy is a whole other issue I will not comment on.

Ouch is Catherine Perretta. Catherine should concentrate on her campaign for County Board, which she will lose. Her lame husband will lose in the next election too. Nobody in the neighborhood will vote for either one of them.

If she is running for election she should try to make friends and not enemies. Unless she is stupid.
If she is, we already have enough stupid people spending our money so we don't need her.

I bet. Look at sleezy Toim Kelly. Since you are a cheapskate for kids. Other issues, how about the four hundred fifty thousand dollars to the engineering company? Of course that is fine. Sidewalks needed at Kelvin Grove. Sidewalks are always needed for kids. You are a cheapskate, Kelly Turner and Dick Van Dyke. It will not go over big with the families, as I have talked to many already. Save it for someone who would listen to your filth.

Awwww, Colarectum, you pathetic little boy, always about the $400k, it's in 98% of your garbage posts. How much would you have given away if you were in control. From what I've heard, it is in the millions and you still have your plans (thinking you are the next mayor).

So post some facts to support your rhetoric always about Pete. At least money spent in past council was voted on and approved after going out for bid. Lets see this majority make that same claim. NOT!!

We all know you will post something about Pete again. Bottom line, they have wasted more on Robinson since in office than the cost of those sidewalks which would benefit everyone, along with number one safety.

We all know SAFETY is not in this majorities vocabulary, unless it means giving Robinson more money.

Go ahead, lets here the Pete this comments.

ACTUALLY if you look up the grant specifics on the IDOT website, you will see that it is 100%....no local match....check YOUR facts!

You might want to ask the city which grant they applied for or were looking at before you assume you know which one. I would hope even the majority wouldn't be stupid enough to turn down something which could be used for free down. But then again we are in Lockport. Until then if you are so concerned drive your kid(s) to school. Take care of your own and stop waiting for everyone else to take care of it for you.

Plenty of people are talking about this and they do not like it. We had the grant for our sidewalks and you are like some other politicians I know just recently on the national scene who are back peddling. You are going nowhere with this one except down. People against children are someone that needs to be ousted! We will be watching the progress on this and the Superintendent of KG will take care of it. She is an astounding figure and will be able to find out why the city will not do what is right for kids. I guarantee it. I work at the schools and I know. You are full of it if you think we are taking this lying down.

You are very sensible on here and notice he never answers your questions or comments. I know why because he does not know how. He will answer this one with his Pete comments. He is so full of bulls**t. He never makes any sense except to himself as he types all day the same answer to all the posts. He is like the kid who sits in the corner complaining all day about someone he dislikes and is afraid of.

I would be so crapping mad at this I could not communicate my feelings. Children come first. These old goats that do not care about children are out of their seats at election time. They are ready for retirement anyways. These same ole hasbeens are in need of a hobby outside of swindling money.

Once again I am not on the city council. Not against kids. Give me a link to your 100% funded grant or pass it onto the city council. I just feel we need the water issue fixed first.

O-stop it already I am not on the city council. I am not against children or anything for free. Again you are waiting for someone else ( the super of KG) to do what you want done. Doesn't matter where you work we are all citizens here. Please provide a link for everyone to the 100% funded grant, exspecially for the city council members. I can't believe even the majority would turn down a fully funded grant for any reason.

You will be too old to enjoy that one. This group has ruined that for ever happening. Kids are more important than water. The safety with the water issue was not important to them. They proved that. You do all your own research. We have heard the answers and do not like what we heard. If you are in it to pursue it, then you pursue it. We will pursue it at election time.

Daily Horoscope for June 1

Taurus

Some people are full of talk today and the trouble is that they don't know when to shut up. Who needs all the trivial details? Retro Venus is favoured in Gemini, so financial matters may resurface, and you may be inclined to change your point of view. Think long term, especially if you are tempted to form an important liaison, or partnership.
