To be clear: only 44% of those surveyed would classify single moms as “respectable.”
This is roughly the same number of Americans that supports clemency for convicted murderers.

A full 27% of respondents believed that single moms should accept lower-paying jobs, in exchange for more time at home with their children. If that’s not immediately appalling, consider the fact that even back in 1950, 40% of women (between ages 25 and 54) worked outside the home. And that was 60 years ago!

Besides creating professional and financial dead ends for single mom families, low quality jobs are less stable – adding unemployment anxiety to an already difficult situation.

Even more alarming? Nearly 66% of those surveyed were against the idea that single moms should receive any special assistance – including financial aid for college or tax breaks. Compare that number to 70% of Americans who reported, in a similar-sized survey, that they support educational opportunities for prison inmates.

Evidently, the American public is more concerned with helping convicts climb the social ladder than law-abiding women, who happen to be single.

Kelsey's mom was a good mom, it is too bad that raye dawn showed so much love to kelsey that it made him insanely jealous and would beat kelsey when no one was around, but was real nice to her in front of people, his daughter walked in on him twice that week while raye dawn was gone.

hey, i'm just frying some squash, and I ate it, now, i'm frying some chicken, i cooked some beans and barley earlier, and had that for lunch, The sun came out today, and it was warm, I sat out in while Dovey was feeding her rabbits..Jesse was out there with us too, It felt good to get some warm sun on my skin, I had just eaten and I sat out in the sun, the 8 baby chicks [hens] the ones that I bought at the feed store, they came and sat near my feet enjoying the sun,one was cuddling up to my bare feet, I put them in the box with the rooster when they were tiny and he cuddled with him just like a hen, no one likes to sleep alone. cus they will die if they don't keep warm, most people put the baby chicks under a light bulb 24 hours a day, but I would hate to sleep under the light all night and day, it is not healthy, any way they love him, the other roosters pick on him, and chase him away from the chicks,plus they beat up another smaller rooster and almost put his eye out, they keep him form coming close to the house and eating, he is getting sicker, tonight I'm going to catch those big bully roosters while they sleep and have some more chicken soup tomorrow . those bully roosters spend all day getting what I'm not,humping the hens all day! one of my hens has a broken leg and they are twice her size and getting up on her, her leg did heal all up but now it is broke again, poor thing. I got to go turn the chicken., I don't like the breast, it is too dry, what good is a dry breast? breast is o hmmm, It'a crispy brown, and it smells so good, I thought I'd share some with you, you know how much I love feeding you, then I went in and took a long nap, the girls are studying the bible and i'm cooking dinner,, i hate being without my bible when things go wrong, i like to read the psalms because they are songs and prayers from david, and his prayers are acceptable to God.. so if I say these and really mean it in my heart, then my thoughts are acceptable too.
