Sheriff: Slain Hocking County woman planned to leave area

The registered nurse from Laurelville in Hocking County who was found shot dead in her vehicle outside her home late Sunday had been living apart from her husband for about two weeks and planned to move from the area, Sheriff Lanny North said today.

Yes...please don't make judgements right away. Cheri Davis was a strong and caring woman and nurse. She left an impression on anyone that met her. We do not know what drove her husband to this horrific act but she certainly didn't deserve it and would never have put up with abuse. The world is a little dimmer with the loss of her beautiful smile.
