I am Angela Morgan Sister.

For anyone still reading this, i understand that you, having no connection to this case whatsoever, or without having any inside information about the marriage between Angela and Arthur, may say that they have the wrong person. But you don't have any idea what you are talking about.

Unfortunately, the family members of Arthur Morgan, and the people with whom he associated (and unfortunately for Angela - the control that he exacted upon her forced her to only associate with HIS friends) may seem of questionable character to you. But these people of "questionable character" didn't make up that they saw Arthur throw my sister across the street onto the ground while pregnant, didn't make up that they saw him grab her by throat and hold her against a van in the middle of the grocery store parking lot, didn't make up that they saw him holding her down on a couch and beating her with his other hand. didn't make up that they were in the next room while hearing smacking sounds and angela begging "stop please stop"

you didnt see the beaten bruised face Angela sported several times throughout the last few years. you didnt hear her lame excuses for them (you dont get bruises all over your face from several angles by "falling on the ice".

angela also didnt have a drug problem. she never used crack before she met Art, and she only did those drugs while with him. he was in jail last year (was released not even two months before he murdered my sister) for several (somewhere between six and eight) months, and she wasn't using drugs at all during that time, and was not at all sick about it.(i saw her on a regular basis during this time) someone with a crack habit cant do that.

what you don't know is about all the calls he forced my sister to make to loved ones in the middle of the night. she would be crying, asking to borrow money, while he screamed in the background that he knew she was hiding drugs on him.(this was while their not yet one year old son was living with them)

and you can say that there was a lack of intervention from both families but you also DONT know what you're talking about. we tried to get my sister to leave Arthur repeatedly over the last few years. we were unsuccessful. if you know anything about domestic violence, or know anyone who was been in this kind of relationship before, than you would know that this is often the case. domestic violence is as much about control as it is about violence.

what you dont know is about the ex girlfriend Arthur had in the late 90's, before Angela. Arthur used to beat her too. In fact, she had to go to a Domestic Violence shelter in order to get away from him, as he stalked her and her family when she tried to leave him. she was prepared to testify in court but wasn't allowed to because this happened just over ten years ago. i've spoken to her. shes real.

what you also don't know is DNA evidence in the case. A tech from the FBI lab stated that every piece of DNA evidence on Angela's body (that means collected from her body cavities, from her wounds, her hands, from under her fingernails (which were so short that the coroner told us that they wouldnt be able to get anything but tried anyway - and ended up getting a bunch) could be accounted for by the DNA of either Angela or Arthur. She said that meant there is a one in 3 BILLION chance that ANYONE besides Arthur killed Angela. her words, not mine.

I want you to think about that.

This man murdered my sister. He used her, controlled her and abused her repeatedly. You can think what you want from the outside, and say they should "dig deeper" but that is because you are not as informed as the people actually involved in the case.

You should be ashamed of yourself, her sister was just murdererd and you tell her to go f herself and that she should have been there for her. Who are you to even began to understand. Just because her sister was not listed as her hero on her myspace does not mean anything, and no one should read anything into that. We dont know how close they were but I am sure she loved her sister. When someone is in a domestic violence relationship it doesn't matter how much you help them, you can't make the abuser do what you want. They are going to do what they want to. I am sure she helped her sister many times. I know myself because my sister was murdered by her husband. She had left him and was in the middle of a divorce and she had lived in a domestic violence relationship. Me and my family had helped my sister many times and we would have done anything to help her, but like I said , in the end the abuser( spouse or ex- spouse ) are going to do what they want no matter how much you help. So when I see stupid comments like yours , I have to think let it happen to you and see if you had cared more and been there hero would that have made a difference!!!!!!!!!!

Amanda, I am sorry for you and your family. I know exactly how you feel. My younger sister was murdered in june of 2008 by her husband. It has almost been a year but the pain feels like it just happend yesterday. My sister was only 23 years old helathly and full of life and student in nursing school and then she was gone. It hurts me to hear other famailies are having to go through what my family has. We love and miss her very much just as I know you do your sister. My sisters husband shot her then shot himself , so he is deceased as well. Domestic Violence is NEVER okay and that is my mission now to help get my sisters story out and help others get out of domestic violence relationships. I hope over time we can began heal , it will be rough but we can do it. When peop;e leave rude comments just ignore them, because they can't ever began to understand the depth of despair we feel. ummm im sure it would make a difference if angela had her sister to talk to of course a person isnt going to leave an abuser(someone they loveA) when they have no support else where maybe if she had someone to talk to her and listen and show her the way out and help her to leave she would have so i dont give a shit what any of you say nobody nos the truth so just keep listening to amanda shes definatly telling the truth just kidding

I think you need some kind of mental help. There is something not right in your head. I'm sure Amanda tried to help her sister, but like I said before no matter how much help you give someone if the abuser wants to get them they will. Really go get some help!!!!

First of all you dont know me and what I've been through. I know first hand how Amanda feels and I kmow when men beat women and then kill them in cold blood they are killers and they deserve to rot in jail or worse. I may not know all the details of the case but bottom line, he murdered her. There was a history of domestic violence, you admited that in a earlier post, then he killed her. Can you deny that? I dont now, nor have I ever needed mental help, But when people like you and others are telling someone that has lost a family member to murder because of domestic violence to" go f themselves" and "we dont know shit" It makes you think that person has a mental problem. You dont do that. It is rude and heartless. Let your mother, sister, aunt, or grandmother be murdered and see how you feel and see if you like people making comments like that to you.
