Ron Stein ems specialist

I knew ron stein too. He never hurt a patient or abused anyone in the many years I knew him. There were emts who did this kind of stuff,,RON wasnt one of them. Hes not a danger to patients and he was nice to his fellow emts. I suggest you all shut your mouths until the court dates, some of you should back him in court as a character witness.Its possible he was set-up by cops who are tied to vigilante groups, like perverted justice..for example. Do you know obout the vigilantes in ems, that try to set people up,,,I do. Vigilantes suck, plain and simple.

I believe Mr. Stein deserves a fair trial and hopefully he will be found not guilty. His friend that hung out with him was not 14, he was more like 20, so stop the bullshit and lies. Also ron was alot younger. Hes only human, humans make mistakes even big ones, but, we cant hang him on hearsay. He helped the sick and injured all his life, and now hes in trouble. Personally, How could a 14 year old fiqure all of this out? Its possible, ron might have thought he was much older. Is ron going to be punished because he might be gay. Hes not a pedophile, in my opinion, just made a very bad and stupid decision. Be careful what you say and do here.

As Stein was sitting pretty on his FAT dying cripple ass at home on 34 Franklin Ave (for about a month). Nassau County Investigators teamed up with the F.B.I to further inquire into Mr. Stein’s past illegal actions & behavior. Now all these charges have been brought to Mr. Stein because of things found in or about Mr. Stein’s residence & several illegal items found on Stein’s personal computers. Ohh and lets not forget the 14yr old boy he tried to lure in online & proposed a meeting with promising to bring liquor and “have a good ole time” WOW you choose to leave that part out MR EMT S TEVE !!!.He tried to booze up and take advantage of a little boy. Back to the point …Nassau county investigators with the joint assistance of the F.B.i broke down all the evidence, computers & property taken into custody in the initial seizure on June 11th. On or about 1 month later, Federal investigators introduced all gathered evidence to the Federal Prosecutor’s US District Attorney’s office and subsequently the USDA upgraded Mr. Stein’s charges. Stein was then taken back in custody and re-incarcerated as of Wed Sep 17 2008, and was ordered held w/o bail until outcome of trial. <br><br>WOW IF YOU ONLY NEW THE REAL RONALD E JR STEIN!!!I’VE KNOW MR. Shoot! I knew Ron in the late 80s and early 90s. He was a chicken hawk back then. I was young, stupid and nieve when he took in a kid who was underage from a mental ward @ Pligram, gave him drugs, beer cigarettes, and had the kid move in with him since he had no place to stay. The poor kid was hit and was passed around to all his sick older friends. The poor kid tried to kill himslef and i have no idea where he is now.I knew it was wrong, but I did not say much due to I looked up to you. But then you tell everyone that your family owed most of Sea Cliff and you were a EMT. You answered phones and made your car bigger than what it was to impress the young boys! Well, believe me there will be no kids to play with where your going to... and they will be alot bigger and will show you what it is like to be abused! You sick man!!!!!

I went to Portledge High School with Ron. I always thought there was something not right about the guy, and find the charges totally believable. The rumors, even back then, were that he was interested in young boys. He could often be seen making obscene (homosexually oriented) gestures towards younger male classmates. For this reason, most of his classmates steered clear of him, and he was pretty much a loner.

Plenty of totally normal people in high school are interested in younger classmates.

It's also not so shocking that a young gay male in school decades ago might be ostracized or a loner. High school can be a brutal place for anyone who isn't one of the popular kids even today with the new anti-bullying laws in place.

People: I, for one, am feeling very empathetic toward Ron. An abused, left out, abandoned student feels a need to reach out to someone. He may have turned out to be a bad apple, but society did not give him an honest chance to be a better person.

I think one or two of the charges may be true, the rest looks like a set-up. Opinions vary, so have a day.

Good for you, Captain, for speaking your mind. There may be a lot of negative sentiment against the accused, even going back to high school, but everyone deserves his day in a court of law.
