can someone please tell me why their pastor left the church?

where was the husbands in all this him talking to their wives? I guess the women were doing wrong as well not just the preacher! Were the women asked to leave? If not, that isn't right!

surely they wouldn't ask the preacher to leave a church b/c of some meaningless conversations. The texting and conversations had to be inappropriate. Am I not right? There is something else going on to this story!

I think I wouldn't want to be associated with this church if all this is true!

Now on to this ridiculous thread as well. I know many good people that go to Mt. View and their church as a whole is a very nice, godly church! If your not a member of this church and do not intend on attending or becoming a member, don't worry about what goes on in the church! God will help them to sort it out and continue on past whatever bumps come up!

I agree, but if they asked the preacher to leave on account of this why wouldn't they make her and her family leave as well?

Ask them to leave over what? What is it exactly that you say she did again?

Well maybe after this they will ask her to leave b/c she sure is giving the church/members a bad reputation. What a web we weave.

The last pastor that was at Mountain View left because he was asked to leave for texting several of the women in a way that wasn't very nice. There's a new pastor, and I find it difficult to believe people would talk about a church in this way.

For ALL of you, check your sources before you go spreading gossip, especially about a church at that???? Really. I'm assuming you're grown adults so hopefully lightning won't strike you all in these storms today.

This is my two cents. I wonder if the church knows about all this? If not she and any others that actually did wrong should have to stand in front of the church and ask for forgiveness. I have seen her name on topix several times. She sounds like a real winner. And her husband a real idiot!

If I was a betting man ,I would bet your church is about to grow with or without a preacher.Spare the "ROD" and spoil the -----.

I am an married man thank you very much. This thread caught my attention b/c this is the church my mother use to attend before she died. I haven't been back there since. And from the sound of it I don't think I will ever go back if the people that go there are like these people!

These days it doesn't seem to make a lot of differance if you are a man or woman."SAME QUESTION"or maybe that church is like IRAN and you don't have any homosexuals.Someone is very jealous of this woman or this thread would not be up here.If you believe in GOD let him take care of it.

Don't judge the church by a former preacher. Obviously the members were offended by what was happening. Otherwise he would not have been asked to leave. Please come visit my church. We would love to show you how we worship our savior. We are God fearing people and forgiving.

I agree thay anything can happen in a church. I've attended here before and know several people that goes there and there are some good people that still go there. The biggest problem for me was a couple of families who look down thier noses at people, pass right by them, won't talk or shake thier hand and welcome visitors in like they are a step above all others. Another problem for me was seeing how some of them lives thier lives through the week. They can drink and cuss and cheat on their spouse and big the biggest loudmouth in the bunch on Sunday morning. All show! I am not judging no one here. Jesus likes the meek and humble people and will use them. There are still some meek and humble people there. Our lives should show good fruit if we are a true Christian. When I see bad fruit it tells me they are not. I hope and pray God blesses those that are still there for the right reason. We need to pray for the ones that are there just to be seen in front of the church. Just because you attend church does not make you a Christian.
