It was another "only temporary" tax. I guess they told the truth, technically, since it didn't stay at 2.8...it went up!

It's time for Spendell and his political cronies to empty their ill-gotten piggy banks to bail out the state. Fast Eddie can give up $750 million from his Rainy Day Fund. The legislative leaders can fork up $250 million from their leadership slush fund. The legislators must surrender their Pork Fund, the WAM money, which is about $750 million. Then we will have $1.75 billion to avoid an income tax increase. Also freeze salaries of the politicians and their staff. Budget would be balanced without a tax hike. There's plenty of fat left to trim on the BIG PIG in Harrisburg.

THere are a lot of jobs on hold, in limbo, or just plain lost because of the failure of a budget being passed. So - all of a sudden the governor has this great idea!!! Hey - let's raise the taxes - just a little!! Don't tell me he did not have this in mind all along.. Let the free people not pay their income tax on time and see what happens.! But the governor can prolong passing the budget and get away with it! havent liked him since he got into office and I am a Democrat

If all want to show Rendell how they feel, DO NOT Vote for a Democrat on November 3rd - vote Independent, Republican or write in your name, but send a message - that is for all offices - local or state.
