My husband and I have been going to this place for quite some time after church on Sunday ,well i guess no more. We have been told the new manager Chris in not paying the Mexican boys for all the hard work they do. They are not US citizens so there isn,t anyone to turn to.What a shame for these young men.We will be praying for them and also Chris to make things right. Until we hear differently we will be going to the new pancake house, we have heard the food is quiet good. Shame on you Chris.God loves us all.

I lived in Decatur for a very long time and i can tell you that Decatur Gardens may not have the best food but those mexicans get paid cash money not a check that taxes are taken out of like us white citizens. No these mexicans get thier money straight from Chris pocket so they do get paid lady. You need to look up your facts about them and the resturant before you post a blog about it.

Hey buster, I do know the facts. How do you know what,s going on there if you no longer live here?

I go there every other day and have coffee with the cops and Chris. I know whats going on there and you do not. Stop feeling sorry for immigrants most of them can not even speak English but Chris is giving them a chance by paying for what they need and paying them cash money with no tax to be taken out. you have no right to put Chris down your just an old person who thinks they have a clue and maybe you do when it comes to canning fresh veggies but not when it comes to owning and operating a restaurant. By the way I'm sure Chris knows that God loves everyone.
