Another good restaurant which no one in Latrobe will support! Latrobeans prefer Denny's, Eat-n-Park, Dino's...you know the REAL gourmet establishments around!

Please Renee you have no idea what Latrobeans like to do. You have no expierence at all with anyone or any place outside of your dogs and basement full of shit. You have no room to speak as to what Latrobeans do or don't do.

Did u take a poll to come to this conclusion? I have not eaten at Dennys or eat-n-park for YEARS. I do eat at DINOS...but SO WHAT!! Its good food and good atmosphere. I hate when you u post your OPINIONS on the people of this town. Who died and made you spokesperson??. When (and where) was the last place you went out to eat? Answer honestly please.

Quality, quantity, price....those are the 3 main factors which will determine its success and for how long. Few drinks + dinner wont fly too long for too many if your looking at 80 skins. Doesnt matter how 'pretty' the place looks or how great the service is. There needs to be a reason you're chosen over somewhere else down the street. Ultimately those who return (or dont) determine long term success or failure.

Yeah, if you want to attract many of the resident lard-asses looking for a big feed,'quantity' is key. LOL! On the other hand, if you want to attract people who appreciate good food... not so much. Quantity is the easiest (and the cheapest) thing you can deliver. If throwing a wheelbarrow of food on a platter in front of your patrons is important, then you have the wrong customers.

If you're trying attract the Sharky's crowd, no it won't. Fine dining to them is a few beers and a basket of chicken wings.

It's all a part of the equation. Food, atmosphere, service. Yes, there are people willing to pay for a fine dining experience.

Luckily, the establishment isn't located in the city of Latrobe, where it would fail. On Route 30, where people from all of the area can easily reach it, it has a much better chance.

I agree with you on this. Food atmosphere and service are key. When we go for a quick cheap meal then we head to Mondays, Dinos, Jioios or Gianillis for wing/speghetti/pizza specials.

If we want a little better of meal then Jaffres or we go up 30 to Olive Garden, Texas Roadhouse, TGIFridays etc.

If we want a really nice meal then Roboyko or into Monroeville or Pittsburgh is where we head.

At each level you know what type of meal, service and atomosphere you are getting and i am willing to pay differently for each level. Its all about what you are into.

Gotta say though if you want a wheelbarrow full of food at a great price you have to go to fire mountain in Indiana. Its a buffett and it is good.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Libra

Someone is convinced they're in the right under the Lunar Eclipse, and they don't care how they get their point across. If there's trouble in your neighborhood, get it sorted out by putting your thoughts down in a blog, or on paper. Don't let anyone, even siblings, treat you like this, even if you balk at standing your ground under this moody cloud. Travel plans may be upset, and spiritual pursuits, and dealings with foreigners or people of other cultures is subject to pressure too.
