catfish cabin

Has anyone tried the new Catfish Cabin on Peavine Rd yet? What did you think of it and how were the prices?

Food was great,
Prices were fine,
Service was lousy,
So i left a dime.

Where on Peavine is it?

It's on the left going toward FFG. It's around the Crossville Heating and Cooling out there.

Ok, i just tried it today. The prices were good and the service was good. We both ordered the catfish plate. I had mine baked and my friend had his fried. If you go there order it fried. The baked catfish was kinda nasty. Everything else was great. I think the next time i go there i will try the philly.

What are their hours?

It should be against the law to serve baked or grilled catfish. Catfish should be fried!

I know they are open. I been there everyday since they opened. Food is great and service is awsome. You should try it.

I have tried it. If you scroll up and look at previous comments, you will see that. Lol.

What other things do they have on their menu for those of us who want to accompany a catfish eater, but do not eat catfish ourselves, anything?

They had A philly cheesesteak and rib eye. And besides the tossed salad, i am not sure what else.

They have american catfish, imported catfish, chicken strips, tilipa, frog legs, gator tail, grilled chicken breast, ribeye steak, super stuffed baked potato, hand patted burgers catfish hoagie ribeye philly sandwhich, smoked pork sandwhich, fried green tomato blt and lots of sides to chose from.

I see you brought the menu home with you...lol. I forgot about the gator tail and frogs legs.

Checked it out myself today. Food was really good, and so much I couldn't eat it all. Prices are reasonable. And the service was good. We received our food fairly quick. I will definitely be going back.

went there tonight with my family....DO NOT order the potato salad or deviled eggs, they are bland and tasteless, the fried catfish was really good but the baked Cajun catfish was terrible...the service was awful but the place was full, just a lack of servers....the stuffed baked potato my daughter had was really good she said, had to ask for BBQ sauce....the onion rings looked really good at another table...do not go there expecting cornbread sticks, my son and his wife have been there twice now and another person said they had been there three times and they always say they are out of cornbread sticks...the hush puppies I had were hard as a rock and not edible.....also there was no air conditioning so be prepared for some heat....maybe in a few weeks when they get settled in it may be better

You must be the owner. You must be really happy because everytime I ride by there I see the parking lot packed and people on the porch waiting for a seat. But let me ask you this. Why didnt yall put a little gravel in the parking lot? smooth that extra dirt around the sign? And paint those two posts on the porch? You know the ones under the banner?

I drive out Peavine to go to work, place has been packed everytime I pass, early or late, I cant wait to try it out....
