This price increase is absolutely unfair and just plain wrong for senior citizens on a low fixed income who put out a small 13-gallon kitchen bag of trash 99% of the time.

Seniors have had one small raise over the past three-years and raising fees on these low-fixed-income elderly is disgraceful.

Why can't one senior neighbor share a small container with another senior neighbor. One can cancel their service and share with the other and cut their cost in half?

All seniors 65 and over who are on low fixed incomes should be grandfathered in to old rates.

Shame on you Brune, and on the rest of the Council. We gave you a chance and this is what we get. Bring back the old Council. They looked out for the seniors.

Don't forget good ole Dewey in this deal!! He pushed and pushed to change something that absolutely was not broke. But that is his calling card..... The very sad part of all of this is by the time everyone finds out what a fiasco this is going to be, Dewey will be gone from office....

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Cancer

If you want to make changes to your working environment or career prospects, do your best to get on with your colleagues today. It's a powerful Lunar Eclipse, so the Moon-ruled could encounter opposition as the knives come out. Perhaps someone objects to the way you're doing things, or maybe they're just plain jealous. Ensure that you're acting in everyone's best interests and not just your own, or you'll really land in hot water!
