i am not scared of any of you. i would like to see you kick my ass lol. we all know this has been going on for years now. we are their to help people not to stab each other in the back , but it seem that all that is being done anymore out their. as for the problems they all could be fix if everyone would try to fix them ,but not one wants to agree on anyone thing. it will never stop if we don't stop it, but one thing for sure it has and always will keep the dept from it full and maxium service.do you really want to go into a burning house with someone that you just got in a fight with don't think so. think about what the big picture is about and not your self.

The rumor that the westfalls stole money went through the whole fire house. Talking about Lance being dirty and saying that stuff you are wrong. Lets talk shit when it was time for elections and you have Rob Westfall and Lance Bragg up for assistant chief. Guest what everyone Rob won because Heather Westfall his wife was the tie breaker. Instead of declining and letting someone else pick she stayed and choose her husband, thats what is dirty.

Jeff Giles, that name says it all crook, he is a westfall buddy they stole the money together and kept it between them selves.

Everyone notice on here they say they didnt take that money but they didnt say anything about not taking the BINGO money. They have done it for years. Could of had lots of new things years ago, but had people around with hot hands. You have that sometimes. I lay my head down at night feeling good, not what I have done that day that I may get caught or even not getting caught and feeling gulity..

I hate so much to hear all of this crap being said....im ashamed that I even look at this site, the CVFD is a great place. Sometimes, obviously, not everyone gets along. However, I really wish you all would stop bashing one another, that is not what I want everyone reading about the fire department. If there are issues, please resolve them, in house, not on this site. Thanks!

I don't know anything about our firefighters personal lives and I don't want to know anything. But when I seen this topic on here I wanted to thank everyone of you for your quick response to the trailer fire in the Cowen Bottom in the wee hours of the morning a week or so ago. My husband and I do appreciate what you do for our community. I watched as some of you sprayed water, some of you pulled away parts of the trailer to extinguish flames, some of you ran for supplies, and some of you even geared up and went into the trailer. I seen you disappear into the thick black smoke risking your own lives. Just before you got on the scene my husband ran to get her dog out of his yard just as the air conditioner blew out of the window. When things were settling down, some of you even showed kindness to me instead of seeing me as a nuisance when I asked if it was safe to let her dog back into his yard. Thank GOD when it was all over everyone was present, safe and accounted for. THANK YOU ALL!!! and GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!! You're braver than me. God calls special people to do different jobs. For those who have nothing good to say about this unpaid and at times overworked crew, GEAR UP!

You are so wrong by saying that the fire department has enough people to help out. Every Saturday night the same people show up to work Bingo week in and week out. Same goes for the kitchen also. And if you think that all these men do is spit shine trucks you are saddly mistaken. You should try being in their boots before you run your mouth.
