My dad and I were discussing God at lunch one day. I told him how I felt and said "God forgive me if I am wrong". Why can't it be a true remorse?

I have ask God to show himself to me somehow and he hasn't to the effect that I have changed my mind. I have grown but nothing basicly changed. I don't really feel "him".

So I am saying I don't agree with you. Only God knows what is in our hearts and thats a good thing cause sometimes we forget how to speak.

That's a very good point...most things are flawed in one way or the other. Jennifer Anniston is gorgeous but she could have a bad breath problem for all we know. Or flatulence problem...

IMO...the government does what's best for 90% of the people. The theory is...you can't make everyone happy right? Even if they STOPPED taxing us the IRS would be very unhappy. They would have to lay off EVERYONE. The government would come to a grinding halt. No one in government will get paid.

So, IMO, our laws are designed to benefit the MAJORITY and or the RICH. If you're in the minority and or poor then the laws don't necessarily work in your favor most times.

Now just imagine if you are poor AND in the minority. That's a double whammy!!!

I seem to hear of incest quite frequently on the news about Egypt, Somali, Pakistan, Iraq, Germany, Phillipines, you name it. It goes on around the world. Child abuse and molestation go on, it's just reported more here. A lot of it in other countries is considered a "normal" part of life. Sadly, the children know better, but have no power to change it.

Those experiences are bizarre. I remember reading about a girl who received the heart of a murdered girl. She was having nightmares of the same person, and in each dream, he kept trying to kill her, and the same way each time. She wasn't told that this was the way the other girl was killed. She got a very good description of the man in her dreams. The parents first took her to therapy, and the therapist realized the details were too consistent to just be childhood fantasies or whatever. So the therapist contacted the police and they used the details to catch the man who murdered the girl whose heart this girl ended up with. And the court convicted him.

Good question. This is not the only such case. Some are bizarre in other ways.

There was a young adult who received the heart of a fellow her age who died in a motorcycle crash. Some of her habits changed. She developed quite a taste for chicken nuggets and may have began drinking. She also began to become interested in guitar playing and motorcycles. She eventually met her donor's parents, and the habits she recently picked up matched his. His parents showed her a song he was writing before the accident. There was a line in it that said, "Danny I give my heart to you." Little did he know those were prophetic words. Danielle ended up with his heart.

I forgot the details of some of the other ones I read. There were a few which involved changes in sexual orientation and/or gender expression after major organ transplants. One man received an organ from a lesbian. He was still attracted to his wife, but had also picked up the habit of carrying a handbag and maybe some cross-dressing. A lesbian received an organ from a decidedly heterosexual woman, threw out her LGBT materials, became a vegan, and I think married a guy. Her donor was a vegetarian, and I believe she had trouble keeping meat products in her system after the transplant and gave them up to avoid feeling sick. And one woman claimed that her temper was shorter after her transplant.
