BoyCott Safeway stores

It's time to show business that are stupid or have allowed stupid people to manage them. Like Safeway grocery stores!

That was completely stupid of the store and the police to do.

Grocery stores where I live have eat in places and I can see this happening.

Yes she should have probably paid first but come on, she did want to make it right and it's obvious this was a mistake and not on purpose.

People these days overreact over the stupidest things when they should reacting over something that actually matters, they don't. Ridiculous!!!

I usually shop at the commissary on base, and one time I was there, I was 8 month pregnant, and the line wrapped ALL THE WAY around the store.

I'd eaten before I went shopping, and while waiting in line, I grabbed a chocolate milk, and drank it because my glucose levels had dropped so low, I was on the verge of passing out.

I'd already been in line for an hour, and it was another hour before I even got to the register.

I gave them the empty bottle and still paid for it, explaining what happened an they were ok with it.

SO, in that case should I have passed out and waited for an ambulance to come get me or should they have arrested me for drinking a bottle of milk in line?

Sure there are some circimstances where they should have waited, but I figure as long as you still pay for it, you should be ok.

It's possible that the person the story refers to is someone that the store has an ongoing issue with.

Either way, the store over reacted I think.

Safeway is just a greedy company, very top heavy and pays the people below supervisor positions pennies. I work in the corporate office and not only are they not giving raises for the last few years, but theyre also raping us with very high insurance rates. I agree, boycott SAFEWAY!
