With all the troubles California has, banning plastic bag is a concern ?? How about being the least business friendly state in the nation? More and more people moving out and little if none moving in. The state is a mess and many citizens have given up and just leaving for a better life.
I moved 5 years ago and so glad I did, but go back to visit family which I'm hope will join me soon.

I can't believe that people are debating plastic bags (drummed up issue based on pseudoscience aka environmentalism) while 3 cities have declared bankruptcy and this green state is $16B in the red. Wake up, folks! Get your priorities right.

I was given a biodegradeable bag one time and didn't realize until it degraded in my car. It was very difficult to clean up the mess.

Sharon.

Supporters of the Lowenthal grocery and goods bag harassment tax never quite get around to telling the cost to the environment of producing old fashioned reusable cotton bags. To mention just one, how much oil based CO2 causing fertilizers are used in the fields of Chinese to grow the cotton used to produce the Lowenthal reusable harassment bags?

Since the revolutionaries came to power and instituted their expensive taxpayer funded Affirmative Action programs, the US has fallen farther and farther behind the more technologically advanced nations. For example, whereas easily degradable plastic bag technology has been available for more than 40 years, revolutionary occupied US still uses plastic components to construct old fashioned "hard to decompose" plastic bags.

Keep those plastic bags where they belong, and not floating around in the trash.

This crack pot of a candidate himself is a lose cannon in his own MIND.

People For The American Way will be launching efforts across the country to expose Willard Mitt Romney’s dangerous agenda for our federal courts.

One in particular his promise to nominate far right (wing nut) judicial extremists for lifetime appointments to the Supreme Court.
