Politics play a big role in small towns. The negative effects it has in police work is more visible. The police have a hard time focusing on crime control, with all the politics being played.... It's not how good one can do his/her job, but how much butt you can kiss. This is a problem everywhere....

Well Dwight you are correct if you mean that you have achieved total control of a bunch of yes men and women.
