I heard about Adam's death through my parents, who were missionaries in Madrid at the same time his parents were also in Spain. I wanted to tell his parents I am so sorry for their loss... He was a very special person to me, and though we hadn't spoken in years I will miss him deeply.

I lived with Adam for almost a year at Louisiana College. We talked for hours and hours about life, God, art, and music. He is one of the few people that I felt a connection. Long story short, Adam is and will always be my friend.

I was so shocked to hear from my parents of Adam's death. I still remember him running around the house in his diapers when his dad was in seminary in New Orleans.

I am still reminded that life has its harsh realities, even for those with a relationship with Jesus Christ. Adam continues to be missed. There is comfort, though, to know that we will meet again!
