Husband Named Suspect in Canton Woman's Death

Are the police EVER going to arrest someone for Kimmy's murder???
Kim Burton and her family deserve justice!! Does anyone have an update on this terrible crime??

I live in SC and never hear unless I call them. And then it seems I am a pest to them. Yes I need justice!!!!!!!!!!

Called this week but got the same old story. It is almost like a recording! Can't arrest him yet. Just don't know where and who to contact to do anything else. I miss her and there is not a minute in every day that she is not in my heart and mind.

Call everyday and bug the heck out of them. If there is anything I can do in Woodstock just let me know. I will do what ever...... Kim is in heaven with all the angels. Celebrate her life, she was one special lady!!! Vicky

I understand the loss of a child is hard I lost a son due to a accident, I also know you want the person who did this horrible violent act to your daughter in custody however regardless if he is assested or not it will not change the fact that she is gone It is hard to move forward but we have to keep taking one day at a time. Also the police have more than just one case. I am sure they are doing everything within their power to make sure whomever is responsible be arrested.

I have also been wondering if they ever arrested anyone for this murder. Do they know for sure that the husband did it? She was the sweetest person. My son and I were customers at the eye care place where she worked. She was always so sweet to my son, Tanner. She told him that her son's name was Tanner too and she always talked to him and played with him while I had my eye exam. I really hope her and her family get some justice. It is unbelievable that they have not done anything about this case....

Thanks Pat. If I had lost Kimberly in an accident yes that would have been terrible but knowing that her husband murdered her you cannot know what I am going through. Investigations needs a little push I guess. I will not rest well until I face this horrible man!!

FINALLY, he is in custody. I doubt he will get out on bail. Hopefully, he will be behind bars for the rest of his life. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Hugs to you and Kim's boys.

To Pat, in Atlanta... My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family too. No one should have to bury their child. You are right to take it one day at a time. But... I have to agree with Kim's mom, we have no idea how much pain she is in. She is dealing with two overwhelming emotions, Grief & Anger!! Kim's family has a long journey ahead of them before they can let go of this anger. Justice must be served before they can begin their healing process. Thank God the accused is behind bars so he cannot tear out another mother's heart!!

Thank you all for your care and concern. I did get some relief today watching the video of that cruel man being jailed! If I have any thing to do with him he will never see a free day again.

Somebody needs to tell Jerry Hicks that he is not family and also not a movie star!@!!!!!!!!

Jerry Hicks has been there when others have not. I am sure his main concern are the 2 grandchildren (his family) this monster has left without a mother. Thanks to his tireless efforts this criminal is now where he belongs and hopefully justice will be served.

You are so right! Thankfully, Jerry Hicks is not part of your family, but Kim was part of his family! His whole concern is for his Grandchildren. It is well known that Kim had not even spoken to you in the past five years. It's very sad.

My comment for Kim's friend and those who know. You do not know! I never said Jerry was not their grandfather just that he seems to love the press! As far as the fact thatKim and I did not speak was the fact that I stopped one bad affair with Wade or do you remember. Should have been around to keep her from this fool!!!! As far as the best sentence for Rodney you need to spend your life with him. Too bad you cannot give your name! My main concern is for my daughter not what you think!
