church disention

local free will bapt. church attempts to oust members of church over difference of opinion.the church elected officials demanded ina rather ugly manner that a member resign his membership due to his place employment. another member came to his defence and pointed out that this was wrong according to the national free will bapt. assoc. that one member should not be calld out while there are others in the church also viiolating said covent of the free will bapt. church. then the member and his wife were sent a letter asking for their membership as well as charging them with sowing discord in the church and heresy. this is a perfect example of two or three pople trying to control the church and its members. what would you do? do you think this is the christian attitude? or the christian way?

to update on church distention members in question were voted out of the church by a very narrow margin all due dring to challenge the deacons. some members of the congrgation were overheard saying that no matter how they felt they would have to vote with their families. 3 of whom are deacons
