Charla, if any one reads this to you. I just want you to know, that I saw you on Oprah. Considering every thing that you have been through, I think you look pretty darn good. I think you are one very brave, and special lady. I am keeping you and yours in my thoughts and prayers. God loves you. Good luck to you.

The caption to this story on air was "Facing the Future" and I find that extremely tacky. Shame on the producer that allowed the caption to air! Your insensitivity is disheartening.

I have totally changed my opinion on this one. The woman can't see - she can't eat - she has no face. Her employer asked her to do something that ended up tragic for her. Her employer, who reasonably should have known about the dangers - I believe is held responsible to a higher degree versus the employee who adhered to her request. Even if both the employer takes 50% responsibility - still owes millions and millions for the damages caused.

If you know anything about this, these two were friends way before they had a working relationship. This was NOT work related, she called her FRIEND for help. I'm sure the last thing she wanted or expected was for her friend's face to be ripped off in front of her. Come on, I'm sure you're smarter than that.

Where was god when this was happening? Can he regrow her limbs & give her new eyes? If you say that's ludicrous, he 'cures' cancer doesn't he?

Its sad to see an animal attack as severe as this one. Punishing the owner will not give back this woman what she has lost, although I believe she should be responsible for all medical expences and care she may need threw out the rest of her life.

I think the animal owner would be broke in no time if she had to encure all those expenses but she should definitely compensate her for some of the expenses. And doesn't she have insurance to cover much of them? Not that it will cover all or a lifetime...

Drunk drivers don't expect to hurt anyone when they get behind the wheel of the car, but that doesn't mean anything when the end result is someone getting hurt. The articles I've read, refer to the chimp owner as her friend and employer. Be that as it may ... regardless, the chimp owner has responsibility here ... A dog bites - who do you go to ? The Owner. A cat scratches - who do you go to ? The Owner. A chimp tears off someone's face - who do you go to ? The Owner.

So. Shutup.

People who have wild animals as pets are idiots and its a shame this woman had to suffer such a terrible price for another womans insanity. Every animal owner should be held accountable for their pets actions and the woman who owned this chimp should be sent to prison. Because even the dumbest person alive should know that some animals aren't pets.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Gemini

Mercury will backtrack through your finances over the next few weeks, which isn't a very seasonal thought if you're already well aware that you've overspent this month. Be prepared to do some juggling or to seek expert advice if you're worried about how you're going to cope. You may be kept busy handling inheritance, tax or insurance matters, preparing investment analysis, and allocating funds for the repayment or collection of debts.
