Old Shawnie Fahan and his tiny group of misfits is at it again. They sent a letter telling the City they want to get rid of Stamford Fire Rescue and go back to 100% volunteer coverage.

Well done Shawnie, you guys do such a great job covering calls now, this should not negatively effect the safety of the area at all.

I guess you won't care about that once the "sold" sign is hanging off the bottom of the For Sale sign in front of your house....

This has to be one of the worst ideas that I have ever heard of, even from Shawn Fahan.

Please do not hold his actions against the rest of us.

Wonder if he realizes that as the AHJ, the buck stops with him. When someone dies he will be the one holding the bag. Wonder how he will be able to sleep at night ?

Old Shawnie does not think or care. He is too busy running his gas guzzling Chiefs car back and forth to Vermont. Did you hear that he is buying a new one? No money for diesel, but plenty for Vermont commuting and fancy new suburban with lots of lights!

Looky here folks, Blowhard Brendan's at it again. Always trying to stir it up, but no takers. Just another example of the failure of Brendan and company to push their agenda.

When you gonna learn BB that you LOST!!! The volunteers are here to stay and you'll just have to deal with it.

I hope Fahan kicks you bums to the curb. Hey Brendan you still got those tents? Good, you're gonna need em. Looks like it's gonna be a chilly winter over on Hope St for the SFRD crew this year. Hey E-7 you can thank Brendan and Malloy for this mees as you freeze your butts off.

Hey SFCO Gemstone-

How much to fix your 2 trucks after your mishap today?

Tow truck, nah! We'll just use our lil rescue truck to push it.

No surprise given the 2 dipshits trying to figure out what to do...

Cant wait to see your decision making on the fireground!!!

PS- those assigned to Engine 7 would sit in a pup tent with a pot belly stove in order not to see the 3 or 4 remaining MORONS trying to pretend to being vollies in Springdale!

Since E53 is the old Springdale engine that they spent entirely too long refurbishing and E62 is the new city owned Turn of River operated HME engine, I fail to see any relation to the two having any problems.

I hope the residents of 4 Gilford St realize what that fire would have been like without Engine 7, Engine 6 and Truck 1, Truck 45, Rescue 1, Engine 8 & Engine 1.

Oh and while Springdale was busy having others put out their fire, Turn of River responded to a bad car crash in R66 along with E9. If things were reversed and the fire was in TRFD and the Crash in SFCO it probably would have been handled by Downtown and Belltown.

As for that pot bellied stove...I'll bring the boys at E7 coal if Springdale actually goes through with throwing them out. Because I know the only back up that the other volunteers have coming out of that district are the career firefighters.

You got it backwards wannabe...it's the volunteers that back up the professional firefighters of SFRD. And that means ALL you jolly vollys even 100%(ha ha) Belltown. It really doesn't matter if you yahoos respond or not, we know we'll be there. We know better than to count on any of you come when you want hobbyists. Why don't you losers just step aside and let the professional firefighters of SFRD do the job?

And this is why the vollys fail. They can't wait to crap on each other to make themselves look good. Well don't waste your time wannabe, you all look bad.

Well, apparently, crapping on vollies is what makes one a professional, at least in your stunted opinion. Your previous post makes that quite clear.

However, I do not think that his post crapped on any legitimate volunteer firefighters or departments. It was actually quite complimentary to the ones who regularly respond to calls, as is was to the career firefighters on the units mentioned.

Resident Professional is not a professional at all. Just another whack from Long Ridge still upset that they have nothing after all these years. Jealous my fat little truck driving, deer slaughtering friend?????

Keep pretending and trying to stir the pot. You have plenty of time up there.

Freedom does have a price you moron. Want to guess what it is?

Fed:

What City or planet have you been on? There has not been a large contingent of volunteers in Springdale for about 20 years.
Career Fire Fighters have been handling the call, with Stamford Fire being there since 1997.

There was never a problem with the few volunteers that they did have until Springdale decided to resurrect a disgruntled former member and instantly make him Chief in 2002. Since then, their unqualifed and uneducated leader has done everything in his power to sabotage Stamford Fire Rescue.

This was done so that they would leave and he and his other misfits could get paid jobs.
Unfortunately for Mr. Fahan, he has been laughed out of every court he has attempted to try his case in.

He is not smart enough to know when to stop and will continue with his efforts as long as he has a dollar left to spend.

This is what happens when all of good people leave and the garbage is left behind runs the place by default.

More info please

What letter?
To whom?
For what?

If dickhead simply wrote to Mc Grath or Callion demanding removal of the career guys again, they'll just ignore him again. His incompetent ravings arent worhty of a response.

Just give it a little more time guys, the new regime wont play this game for a whole lot longer.
