No, alcohol should NOT be sold on Sunday! Sunday is suppose to be the Lord's day and we should respect that and HIM as Americans and Hoosiers.

The choice should be made by the consumer, not by legislators that are in the pockets of the liquor store owners. Even down here in the bible belt, not everyone here shares your beliefs. Please leave religion out of it. Remember separation of church and state?

I really don't see why this is such a huge issue. When I go to the grocery on Sunday, and I happen to think, "Gee, it would be nice to have wine with dinner" and then a realize it's Sunday and I can't purchase that bottle of wine, well, that's just plain stupid. It's Sunday, so what! I go to church and respect the Lord's day and all. But it really shouldn't be a big deal if I want a bottle of wine...

Freedom of Religion includes Freedom from Religion. There is no reasonable explanation to why any person shouldn't be allowed to purchase alcohol on Sundays.

How come the same people who want the government to enforce their religion and regulate alcohol sales don't want the government involved in regulating health care?

Get your wine at communion!

I think that's the liquor stores' argument: If people buy their booze on Sunday, when many are already out grocery shopping, they're less likely to go to them to get it Monday.

Incidentally, I do get my wine at communion, but I also want the right to purchase wine any time I want, without a stupid law stating I can't...They can't list a single LOGICAL reason to restrict the purchase of alcohol on Sundays. The whole thing is just STUPID!!!

Our legislators waste their time debating this frivolous topic, when they should be working on lowering taxes and making sure there is enough money going to the schools, etc. It shouldn't even be a topic for them to mess with...
