I hope he gets a lot of counseling and can have a good life. My heart goes out to him. His killing of his father is a terrible thing, but probably saved others from abuse. It is too bad this happens.

Everyone has a breaking point and it is so sad things like this type of abuse happens on a daily basis. The end result of a life destroyed by someone who is supposed to protect and teach you right from wrong.

Why did you feed that piece of crap to the coyotes. They deserve better than that.

Sounds like the prosecutor dropped the ball on this case. If someone is guilty of killing someone else, no matter the reason, they need to spend time in prison, a lot of time. Three years for killing his father, then cutting him up and feeding him to the coyotes is absurd. This man was plenty old enough to leave the father and with all the social services around he could have made it, but no, he chose to kill. For that he deserves life with no parole. As you can tell I'm not a bleeding heart liberal, thank God.

He probably had a lot of rage in him from before he was old enough to leave. When he arrived at 22 years of age he had acquired his bearings and more fully realized that the ability to ever be normal had been taken from him by force. He probably had relationship problems. Perhaps he started feeling like he had a compulsion to be a perpetrator like his dad and knew his life was over before it began. Could be he knew his dad was in the process of grooming a youngster to take his place. This son decided his father needed to die. He knew his father better than anyone. What a tragedy. Nothing really to do with your lack of Liberal genius or your conservative indoctrination, just a true tragic modern Hamlet. The abused are forever imprisoned in the permanence of the damage.

This poor young man will hopefully recover in three years. I hope the facility he is sent to provides major psychological and emotional help for victims like him.

This man needs some intense counseling and evaluations. I can not imagine abuse from a parent and what it must have been like for him. The story does not give enough information, wished I knew because he was already 22 when he does this. Was he living with his father still, and where was CYFD when he was younger.

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Cancer

You feel the urge to move onward, powered by your wisdom: when you're right, you're right. You may feel that any further explanation is unnecessary, but the people you're dealing with might need it spelled out for them. Take the time to draw a picture or use smaller vocabulary words to get your point across, Cancer. A public demonstration will probably prove to be the last word on the subject.
