Land Rovers are dead last in quality in the Consumer Reports reliability tests and the survey based on hundreds of thousands of polls that readers send in. Great car for trophy wives that get a new car every six months.

Land Rovers are beautiful luxury SUVs. I'm sure if Land Rover had been aware of the issue they would have done everything in their power to compensate this man. They are a reputable company.

Thats a fact. They spend more time in the shop or up on a flatbed than then do being driven. Thats about all they and/range rovers are good for .... rats nests. But, these yuppies and soccer moms gotta have
'em. Like, the roads in Marin are paved, okay? Is there some alternate route to Safeway that requires you to traverse the Austrailian Outback? Rovers .... the biggest coinsumer sop around .... aside from Mercedes ML's and don't EVEN get me started on that .....

Sorry folks, but incase you didn't know it, a Land Rover is really a POS. One of the worst SUVs ever made---unless you buy the actual military model.

These "status" vehicles are one of the most trouble-prone models in the U.S. market. Why anyone buys one of these headaches is beyond me. Buy a Land Rover and prepare to bend over because you're gonna get it without even the courtesy of a reach-around.

Anybody that buys a land rover deserve what they get. That car is is a design and production nightmare. It will take all your money and leave you with NO resale value. Mr. Hoffman you reveal yourself as a upper class twit without a shred of common sense.
I can only imagine the drivel your films must be.

Of course it's a POS. Until last year, Land Rover was owned by Ford.

Anyone who buys a landrover deserves to have trouble. Gas wont stay 2.19 for long with people like this guy driving up demand with his 13 mpg "luxury off road vehicle". His escuse, "but I need it for tahoe"

They used to be advertised as standing up against a Rhino charge. That's when they were a utiltarian vehicle. The Marin county 'femininized' soccer mom version with all the unnecessary bells and whistles can't stand up against a few rodents. Thats progress.

So your friends are ALL the soccer moms in marin? I don't think so.
Tell me this, how long have you had that minivan for? 2, 3 years? that $30K minivan is pocket change to someone who buys a $100K piece of shit EVERY SIX MONTHS.
You'd like to think you were in same league..but you're not.

Until my Fellow Rodent-Clients are served an Unlawful detainer, They're technically allowed to stay where They are.

Besides, They chip-in on gas, and check the tire pressure often.

Did he say his daughters lunch bag was in there? A car seat too? Kids eat stuff and leave crumbs everywhere. Do ya think the rats may have been a bit hungry? Try cleaning out the car and get rid of the temptation for the furry little critters. Rats need to eat too! Don't think it's all Range Rovers fault.....This could have happened in front of the rich punks house too!

upscale Marin has very upscale rodents. I put Velveeta in the mouse trap and no takers. But a nice French Brie and they were all over it

If I'm on a jury, you get nothing. Rats could have entered too many ways. Maybe from your wooded hillside home. Your kids backpacks left in the garage. I'd have a hard time seeing how Land rover or the dealer is responsible. Reasonable doubt as to who is at fault.

... No kidding. I reccommend cleaning out your car before you drop it off for service. It is insulting to the people who have to work on it, or even move it, when garbage and rotting food are left behind as though there is maid service everywhere. Not too surprising that the technicians didn't want to linger in this vehicle.

Range Rover drivers are always trying to run me over when I walk or bike. They are the most self centered pigs anywhere outside of Prius drivers who are usually stoned.

The "filmmaker" probably expected that the peons at the dealership would clean the car for him. After all, some people are valued for their creativity and their connections rather than for the work that they do, especially the small stuff. What this country needs, and is going to get, is a depression to shake out all the fluff in our society and force people to do real work or starve. Selling lattes is not work, making films is not work, especially when it's all done with video cameras and software. Selling creativity seminars is not work, being a rich man's wife is not work, it's work avoidance. Driving a Land Rover is just a bad choice whether you clean it out or not.

You hope and pray that things fall apart so people can be as miserable as you.
Your idea of equality is if everyone is poor.
Why dont you start tonight by walking the streets of Richmond and talking about the need to work.
