Fire rips through Aptos home, family evacuates safely

Michael Spencer was in the middle of dinner with his wife and son Tuesday night when the garage of their Aptos home caught fire and quickly spread to the attic, engulfing the front of the white single-story house.

This is a very quiet neighborhood and there are many families with small children and pets. I would like to request the Sentinel remove the address of the home from the story. We do not need gawkers entering the neighborhood trying to get a perverse look at the scene.
