Everything is expensive in this gun shop. I purchased a rifle part and went home. When i checked in the manufacturer's website, it was half the price of my purchase. I would never buy again in this store.

If you feel that the item you bought was sold at an unfair price, please contact us or come by and we will do every thing in are power to help you. I feel as the owner of the store that you as a customer should contact us if you feel that the price was not right and let us have the attempt to fix your concerns. I do not try to compete against on-line stores nor do I even want to. If the item you bought was mimarked or if you say double the manufactures msrp I will gladley take action to help you.
Thank You

I am not sure about their merchant prices, but their out of state FFL transfer fee is one of lowest I know around bay area.

Not sure if it is appropriate to post price here, so I'll blank out the actual price.

Did a out of state transfer yesterday with them and they knew that I will be paying them transfer fee and all that but still treated me like customer who isn't gonna spend any dime. I liked to pay them for service, but in return they gave me negative attitude all the way through. It was a very unpleasant experience.

I was also not treated well when i bought something from them. I was just asking for comparisons and one of the guys there was rude.

Their prices on consignment are not bad. I believe the cost of doing business here is bound to drive up their cost. I bought three weapons from them and I love shooting them. If you don't like the deal you are getting then there are other shops in lower cost areas nearby you can buy from. Stop whining and exercise your right to shop around.

the store owner is a good person, but the majority of his staff was very rude (the short guywith tattoos on his arms, and the bigger guy with a crew cut). You wanna only deal with the korean salesperson ,the lady, or the owner. So far they seem to be your best bet.I have been in that store 6 times, and its always a dread, but they do have a awsome selection compared to other stores. Bottom line, a very good gun store with bad customer service.

Terrible customer service. Buyer beware. There was a miscommunication on a pickup date and not only did they make me pay DROS twice, they gave me a ton of attitude in the process.

Actually, at $75 plus DROS the FFL fee is simply the most expensive out there. Other prices are also out of control. And, yes, the attitude in the shop sucks.

I don't know what you are talking about. All the employees there were very helpful when I purchased my SigSaurer from them. The gun was at the MSRP of Sig arms, I even recieved extra clips. I was impressed with their help and srvice that I purchased a 2nd gun from them just recently and and am looking at purchasing a rifle from them. Kep up the good work Eric and Gary. compliments to your staff

I used to like this place, which is only a mile from my house, but I won't be going back. I did a Private Party Transfer here, and couldn't make it back in 10 days (I work in Sacramento). I was 3 days late, and they charged me $5/day for "storing" the gun. This is outrageous, and they are the only shop that does this among the dozen or so that I deal with.

I know PPT's are low-profit for gun stores, but they can bring in a ton of traffic, traffic that is obviously interested in guns. I think the Gun Vault is shooting themselves in the foot with this policy, pun intended.

Service started out really good when the place first opened.
I did a PPT here several months ago and they were fast, efficient, and thorough with the paperwork.
However, they did force me to pay a storage fee that someone else mentioned even though they were not open on the 10th day, thereby making me pick it up on the 11th day and charging a storage fee.
They've expanded their collection recently.
Someone else summed it up, prices for new items on the high side. Prices for Consignment are sometimes pretty good.
Service is generally hit or miss, but asian dude and the female tend to provide the best service.

Thanks to everyone for describing the pompous arrogant attitude on heavy supply in this store. I am looking to spend a fair amount of cash on a new firearm or two from a bay area retail store, and this is just the type of uncomfortable store I am looking to avoid.

Tried passing by hoping to buy a new AR. Been here three years ago. Gary is the only nice person. The rest of the staff were rude. Especially the lady with the tatoo... Has been cursing non-stop.
