<quoted text>it is never okay to put a child off the bus without a parent there to see them home safely. It doesn't matter the reason the parent isn't there..there are a million reasons including poor communication from the school to running late from work etc...the child should NEVER be put in danger!!!
Kids get off of the bus without their parents waiting for them everday. Some parents are working. Alternate stops are chosen for the Activity Bus and this was a well lit post office. Maybe the bus driver should have allowed the girl to use her cell phone, but maybe like the girl she did not have one. Most middle school children, especially girls, have cell phones for this very reason. Was it really necessary for the girl's parents to call the news? Wonder if the girl is glad her parents called the news?

IT DOESN'T MATTER! Sure a lot of children are let off the bus everyday without a parent nearby. But are a lot of children let off the bus 1.5 miles from home, at an alternate bus stop, if you don't know why the parent isn't there to pick them up? The danger was clearly present, I don't care how well lit the area is. Children are abducted from well lit areas all the time.

that is total BS i have four children of the same age as her and younger, i just returned home from Iraq and this is the first story that i had to see. this is BULL. The bus driver did not make an ill-informed call. She is just an inhuman idiot. she should be fired with no UE at all and if i had it my way she'd be beaten, taken to the middle of the next state and forced to walk home in the same.... no better yet WORSE conditions than that poor girl had to go through.
I can understand that the father is concerned about his daughter but jesus dude be a **** man about it and kick the **** out of that ****.
DUDE!!! You need to talk to a professional...you are way to angry and violent. Do you really want the father to beat up the bus driver? SERIOUSLY?

Daily Horoscope for November 26

Virgo

The mysterious Moon helps you feel quite generous and passionate today and others will notice and respond in kind. Some of you may be overwhelmed by the uncharacteristic need to indulge like crazy, more like a Taurus enjoying a Bacchanalian reverie. Go ahead and let it flow; this is a great day for you to wallow in the mud with the rest of the zodiac.
