Pig Farm Rte 5

Curious what is the real deal on the foreclosure signs & all with the Mock Pigs at road side on Rte 5 near Enterprise Rd.

It's all gone now, save for a spray painted trailer, but I'd really like to know what the deal was with that. Also if anyone took any pictures...?

Rory_I just read your post and from what I've heard the whole thing started over a town permit issues to run a business and the owner not being willing to pay the $100.00 for said permit so a long feud has ensued between the owner and town officials over the permit issue resulting in the owner putting out several signs depicting his anger with the town, the artful pig's, etc.

Yes Bill, I heard the same thing, he's still po'ed at the town over the permitting process and $100.00 fee so now he's going at it by running for office, the whole thing is just seems crazy to me.

I mean getting that worked up over a permit fee that he knew was on the books to begin with, oh well, we are talking Maine here.
